MeyRin's Pov (Age 12)
Three weeks since we were brought here. Three weeks since all the grown ups went away, and we were taken by the vampires. My family was brought here with the rest of the kids under 13, and everyone got the same boring clothes. Now we have to stay inside all the time and give our blood to the vampires. Mika, (my brother is guess I could call him) and I found out soon enough that if you are willing to give more blood to them, you will get things in return. Yuuichiro, he's like my brother too, is disgusted by the vampires, and the idea of giving them our blood makes him disgusted. He seems not to care as much when Mika does it, but when he found out I gave my blood as well, he was furious. He yelled at me forever. Now he just leaves whenever he sees me, like i'm a disgrace or something. Why is it so different if I do it then if Mika does? He has always been closer with Mika than with me. I don't see anything wrong with giving our blood to the vampires. They need it to survive and we need them to survive, because they brought us away from the terror outside the walls of -whatever this place is called. I'm not sure if it has a name. All I know is it's a lot better than what's out there.
I was walking through one of the halls with Mika and Yuu, who would have never stuck around me if Mika hadn't asked him to. I saw Lord Ferid, one of the nobles walking down the stairs, with cloaked vampires on either side of him. The nobles don't have to wear hoods, the other vampires do.
"Mika, MeyRin, how are my two favourite little lambs?" He asked, gesturing to each of us with his arms spread open. We both smiled as he patted each of us on the top of our heads.
"Will I be seeing you two at my mansion later?" He asked. Lord Ferid was the vampire who we gave our blood. In return, he gave us better food, and let us hang out in his mansion.
"If you'll let us." Mika smiled at the silver haired noble.
"With your friend be joining you?" Lord Ferid asked, gesturing to Yuichiro.
"In your drea-" Yuu was cut of my Mika's hand covering his mouth.
"Umm, no he's a little shy." I said. Lord Ferid smiled at me, before turning and walking away.
"Are you trying to get yourself in trouble?" Mika asked Yuu, removing his hand from the black haired boy's mouth.
"Are you two trying to get yourselves killed? What are you thinking, going to his mansion and letting him drink your blood- you're so stupid! I hate these bloodsuckers, and once I'm strong enough, I'm gonna kill each and everyone of them!" Yuu yelled.
"Yuu, be quiet! What if one of them hears you?" I pleaded.
"I don't care if those idiots hear me. I HATE VAMPIRES, AND IM GONNA KILL EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM!" He yelled off the balcony.
"Yuu, please stop." Mika said. Yuu turned to look at him, before storming off. Mika looked at me sympathetically before running after him,
leaving me alone.
I hope you guys enjoy the first chapter! I tried to write it keeping in mind that MeyRin is only 12 at this point, so if it seems poorly written it the dialogue isn't great, that's why. It will get better as she grows up. - 🎀🕷Newt🕷🎀
