I'm Not Going Anywhere

Thank you guys for being so patient. Its been a really long week but December is finally here. My last note said i was doing a cover contest. So if you have an idea please send them in. For the rules go to the last chapter. Without further ado the next chapter.

(BET YOU WEREN'T EXPECTING THIS)

I just got off the phone with clara. I miss her like crazy. But i just have to focus on the last appointment and i will be alright and i get to go home. A hand comes down on my back and claps it. "How ya doing Daniel? " My best friend never fails to see whats up. Besides my Fiance. I just shake my head. "Nothing just ready to go home. I really want to see the both of them." I look down at his phone and see a picture of all three of them. With clara and him on the outside and my little girl in the middle. "I haven't seen my baby in almost 2 months." I feel the tears starting to go down my face. I quickly wipe them so no one sees. "Yo dude it's alright to cry. I did when they told me you were in the hospital." I nod my head and laugh. "We are navy seals and were crying about little things." He sits in the seat across from me and nods his head. "You two do know that you aren't a man until you cry in the open" Zack stands up while i turn in my seat. It's my commander George Parish. "Commander Parish what are you doing here?" He walks over and claps me on the back.  "At ease Sargent. I'm here to see you off. I think you can call me George when we are out of uniform." Zack sits down again but this time in the chair next to me and offers the old one to the Commander. "Yes sir. Thank you for coming." I put my hand out and he shakes it. "So you ready to go home to the wife and kid." Zack laughs and so do i. 

I nod my head. "Yes sir but she isn't my wife quiet yet. We have ways to go. I want to me able to walk down the isle with her and not crutch." He gives me one of those smiles like 'You better get ready soon, she ain't gonna wait forever'. The doctor comes in and takes a look at everything and gives me the all clear to go. Now i'm on my way home. "You ready Seal." I look over at Zack and nod. He steps out of the truck and hands me my crutches. We start up the walk way to the front door when we stop to laugh. We hear Clara inside yelling for Lilly. "Lilly you get back here right now and put down the bucket. You get any paint on your fathers bed you are grounded till your kids have kids." I almost fall over from how mad she sounds. I can imagine her cute little cheeks are bright red and she has her hands on her hips, with her brown hair in a messy bun and her green eyes are popping with anger. 

Zack puts his key in the door and lets it open. At first we dont see anything, then around the corner comes my little girl she stops and stares. She looks behind her and looks up at clara who only got there a minute ago. I walk through the door and pass my crutches to Zack. Then Lilly breaks into a sprint and starts yelling. "Daddy your home." I bend down a bit and brace for impact. She runs straight into my arms and i pick her up and hold her to my chest. I could feel her tears on my shoulder as her death grip tightens. Then i feel another pair of arms around my waist i look up from Lilly and see my beautiful fiance standing there. I lean over and peck her lips. Oh how i missed that. Lilly finally comes up from my shoulder and pecks my cheek. "I missed you daddy." She reaches over to Clara and pulls all of us into a big hug. I unwrap my arm from her waist and wrap in around Clara's instead. "Well lets get you settled into your room" Clara tells me. I let her go but keep hold of Lilly a little longer. "Daddy?" I look over at her. "yeah." I put both my arms around her so she doesn't fall while leaning back. "Your staying for good this time right." After she said that i bring her to my shoulder again because i don't want her to see my crying. Clara comes over again and hug us too. I put both my arms around the two most important people in my world. I shale my head no. "No pumpkin. I'm not going anywhere."

I know so sorry for the wait and such a short chapter. I want to thank everyone is reading and liking the story. Next chapter is going to be a bonus chapter. So i want all of you to comment on what the bonus chapter should be about. I will be doing these every once in a while so be prepared. So thanks once again. Happy Holidays everyone
