#torment (sequel to #twinning)

Once my mother left I invited everyone inside. And they all followed and it was quite a squeeze. I had all the magcon boys, except matthew, go downstairs with Hayes and Nash. While all of my friends stayed upstairs.

"You are obviously doing very well B. But now what is your real job?" Trista asked. She didn't ask in a rude way I knew. She just wanted to make sure I was doing well. I smiled.

"I am a teacher I will begin this school year! I am going to be a English teacher at the high school, I am very excited." I said bouncing a little. Everyone congratulated me.

"It has been way to long since we've seen each other. My god. I don't even know where all of you live and do anymore!" Claire said disgustedly. I chuckled and nodded.

"Well I'm a school teacher and I still live here in North Carolina. I just live about 10 minutes from here." I said everyone just nodded.

"Wow. I actually live in my parents old house! And I am a nurse too." Claire said. We all chuckled with her.

"We need to do something sometime then! I didn't know you still lived here! Who actually lives at least 10 minutes near here or still in town?" I asked while looking around, and everyone but Courtney and her husband raised their hands. 

"We live in Rhode Island." Courtney said overly proudly with a nod and smile. I saw her husband, Conner, roll his eyes and it made me chuckle.

"How unfortunate for you." Elsa said while sipping her drink from Starbucks. and we all chuckled at her comment. Courtney rolled her eyes.

"I feel so unaccomplished compared to you all because you all are either married or engaged, and then there's me who trying to figure out my life." I said while chuckling. Everyone else chuckled too.

"Well don't you are just as amazing as the rest of us! I am sure you will find someone you love so much you can't even control yourself, and they are the only ones on your mind." Sadie said smiling and holding Jade's hands. I smiled at how cute they were. 

"We got lonely downstairs, and don't worry Blake we remember them. So how are y'all?" Taylor asked looking around.

"Oh my goodness Trista beautiful as ever. And is this your baby? What is her name?" Cameron asked while walking over to her and Trista chuckled. Trista handed Ramona to her husband and ran to Cameron.

"Cameron oh my god I missed you!" Trista cried while giving him a hug. It then turned into a huge reunion. With lots of hugs. And squealing.

THE NEXT DAY

When I woke up  the next morning I was in my bedroom, in my bed next to Matthew. His arms wrapped around me. I turned around to see him still sleeping. But then he opened up one eye and then quickly shut it.

"Matt I know you're up dear, now get up. I am going to shower and get ready for today. So remember we are just having a two hour meet and greet, then spend the rest of the day with my friends." I explained to Matthew before getting out of bed.

I grabbed some clothes before going to the shower. I then quickly showered and got ready. 

I wore a tshirt dress that was mostly maroon with some white, black, and blue detailing. A pair of sandals with some fringe on them. My hair was in a half up half down braid. I had on some brown smokey eye. Then a brown purse. Lastly I wore a gold elephant necklace.

I then walked into my bedroom to see Matthew waiting on my bed with a smile, all dressed and ready. And then I saw that he was holding a gift. I walked over to him chuckling.

"What is this for?" I asked chuckling. He then handed me the present with a smile of pride.

"For you! Happy birthday baby!" Matthew said. I chuckled and smiled, because I had totally forgotten it was my birthday. I squealed and gave him a big hug. "Okay and now open it! It is the first of many to come!" Matthew said excitedly. I chuckled at him and unwrapped the gold and light blue wrapping paper with a gold bow.

Once I finally got to it I was absolutely astonished. It was a pair of pearl earrings with a matching pearl necklace. I squealed with happiness and hugged Matthew again.

"Oh my god Matthew you are an angel. Thank you thank you thank. So so much. I love you baby." I said before pecking him on the lips really quick. Matthew then looked at me in the eyes and just smiled.
