This is what Ellie looks like

Natalie finally brought our drinks over to us after a couple of minutes. She then took our orders. I got some french toast with sausage. Skylynn got eggs Benedict. Nash got biscuits and gravy. And then Hayes got some waffles with bacon and sausage.

"Okay so Skylynn your birthday is in a couple of days, and yes we'll still be here, so what do you want to do?" I asked. Skylynn looked around kind of nervously.

"Oh um. So well I was just going to have a friends over and have just a party." Skylynn said with a shrug.

"Awesome." I said while nodding my head. I then felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around to see who was. And I squealed so loudly. It was Will! I got up and gave him a big hug.

"Happy birthday B." Will said while spinning me around. I giggled as he set me down. Hayes then got up and bro hugged Will. I just rolled my eyes at him.

"What are you doing here?" I asked with a big smile on my face still jumping about.

"Well first of all you look beautiful, as always, but I am here because it is your birthday today. Then it's Ms. Skylynn's in a few days! So I figured it would be easy to come to celebrate them all!" Will explained. I just nodded.

"Where's Jeanne and Ellie?" Nash asked.

"Oh they're at Mom's right now. And is dad and Nila there?" Will asked. We all nodded as we began to sit ourselves down again.

"So do you want anything to eat or drink?" I asked Will just shook his head.

After brunch and shopping we went back home. Everyone was lounging in the front yard. I walked up to Matthew and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"So how was brunch?" Matthew asked. I just smiled and shrugged as I sat in his lap. "I also got to meet and spend some time with Jeanne. She is one of the most loveliest ladies you will ever meet. Oh and little miss Ellie. What a beautiful girl. She reminds me of you!" Matthew said with a smile. I chuckled at him.

"Well I guess it's a good thing that mom has a big house." Hayes said chuckling while pulling up a chair next to us. 

"Yeah I guess so, but now onto something bigger. Um what's up with you and Melody dude?" I asked. Hayes looked away quickly. "No come one Hayes dude, you've got to talk about this. If there is anything wrong with you guys you can tell me. Here, lets go inside and you can tell me." I said while getting up and pulling him with me. He just sighed and followed. We walked upstairs into my room.

"Ugh why do we have to do this." Hayes whined as he fell onto my bed.

"Because I am older, so that means I am wiser, so just shut up and spill." I said while sitting next to him. He rolled his eyes at me.

"Well fine then next we are going to talk about you and Jack next." Hayes said while sitting up. 

"Fine." I groaned.

"So Melody just apparently hasn't happy lately. Because I am getting all the attention. Or just everyone but her pretty much. She just really likes attention because she is an only child. And she has been getting upset that she can't spend any time with Kylie, what so ever. Which I think Holly is a little extreme with that yes. But she has just been acting out about that. And now she wants to get more control of everything. And I just don't really think shes worth the trouble anymore." He explained.

"Wow. I think she isn't either because if this is why you guys are fighting then she really needs someone who will give her all their attention. And you can't do that because you care about your friends and family a lot. You are a family man. But don't do it now or this weekend dude. It will ruin everything." I said. Hayes just nodded.

"Okay now your turn. Tell me about this whole Jack situation." Hayes said. I groaned and fell onto my bed. Hayes just chuckled at me.

"So like I feel bad that he left because of me and stuff. But I think he's the one who made it awkward by coming on  to me when he knew I had a boyfriend and stuff. I think he should try to find someone who is looking for a relationship. And I just feel bad for the kids you know? I hope he has a nanny. I do miss him, but as a friend though. You know?" I explained. Hayes nodded.

"Well, I was hoping for a little more but that will do. I get it though. And yeah he totally came onto you. I kind of wish he would have been a little more grown up about everything. He seemed to pull a childish move and just leave, but if that's how he is that is his own problem. He needs to move on from the past and get himself a new wife for those damn children. He sucks them into that little vortex or whatever and makes them apart of his problems." Hayes said and he just got madder on every word he said and clenched his fists. I sat up and rubbed his back to calm him down.

"I feel the same way, now lets go back out." I said while standing up and helping Hayes up. We walked downstairs to see Ellie, our niece, sitting on the couch watching TV. I ran up to her and picked her up and she squealed.

"Blake! Hayes!" Ellie shouted. We both gave her a hug. "Happy birthday!" She said.

"Well thank you dear, now come on lets go outside on this glorious day!" I said, Hayes then picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. She giggled as we walked out together.

"Oh please be careful with her!" Will yelled as we walked outside. Hayes chuckled and put her down. She then stood next to me and held my hand. She looked up at me and smiled. And I smiled back at her. We then walked over to Matthew. I sat in Hayes's old chair and sat Ellie on my lap.

"So Matthew this is Ellie, and Ellie this is my boyfriend Matthew." I said introducing them.

"Yeah I know I've met him already." Ellie said. I chuckled at her. "Oh and so like everyone at my school talks about you Matthew and they love your movies. So if I could have a picture with you that would be awesome." Ellie said.

"But schools over though." Matthew said. 

"Oh yeah." Ellie said chuckling.

"I am actually teaching at your school next year. Or the high school, I am going to be an English teacher." I told Ellie. She just smiled and nodded trying to be polite. She then got off of my lap and ran over to Skylynn who was over by the pool with a boy and a girl. So I got up and walked over to them.

"Hey Blake." Skylynn said while waving to me. She also had a big smile.

"Hi Skylynn. Who are your friends?" I asked. 

"Oh yeah these are the friends I invited to your party. So this is Alexander and Kaylee. And Alexander is my boyfriend." Skylynn said. I smiled and ran over to her.

"When did you get a boyfriend! And how come I haven't heard about this? Does mom know? How about your dad? Do Nash and Hayes?" I asked getting all giddy. Skylynn giggled, blushed, and shook her head.

"Yes mom and dad know, I just told them to let me tell you guys. And I still haven't told them so you better not say a word." Skylynn said. I nodded and put my arms up.

"I promise. Okay and now tell me everything you know about this party. What should I wear, who's invited? What's the theme? Where is it at?" I questioned Skylynn.

"Um, well mom said not to tell you anything. So that is all I have to say." Skylynn said. I groaned. 

"I hate to intrude into your conversation, but is it okay if I invite my boyfriend to your party also?" Kaylee said ever so sweetly. I giggled and nodded.

"Well since you seem like the sweetest girl ever, and for being so kind then yes!" I said. Skylynn shook her head.

"You are lucky that this isn't to formal of an event." Skylynn said quietly. I chuckled at her.

"Just take a deep breath, this isn't your party so you don't need to worry about everything." Alexander said while taking Sky's hand and holding it tight. She then took a deep breath, nodded, and then smiled.
