I heard a shriek come from the back of the room. Then I heard a moan, I didn't have to look. I knew.

"C'mon Stacey, we need to go." I said as I picked Stacey up.

"Where mommy?" she asked.

"Far away,"

"What about Erica?"

"Erica is going far away with her mommy and daddy.

Brent rushed to the car and opened it. I quickly buckled Stacey into her car seat and got into the passengers side.

"Who in their right mind would hold twenty soulless captive?" I screamed.

"Calm down," Brent said through his teeth.

"Your just as mad as I am Brent! Don't act like this is normal!"

"Evelyn!"

"What!"

"Stacey," he whispered. I looked back at Stacey who had her hands covering her ears.

"I'm sorry peanut," I apologized, tears fogging up their vision.

"Mommy what are soulless?" she asked.

"Nothing babe, nothing."

We were driving for a while.

"I gotta get gas, we are driving to Alaska." Brent said.

A car pulled in beside us and I saw Amara and Jimmy.

I jumped out of my car and ran to her. She got out of the truck and gave me a hug.

"Are you ok?" I asked, my arms still around her.

"Yes, are you Brent and Stacey alright?"

"Fine, Stacey is a bit scared though."

"Please tell me you are going to Alaska,"

"Yeah, but we gotta go now," I said as I unwrapped my arms from around her.

"Be safe." she whispered before hopping into the car.

Brent speeded out of the gas station and we headed north.

I saw Brent yawn.

"Pull over, I'll drive." I said as I woke up from my nap.

He obeyed thankful for my offer and we switched positions.

I was driving north until I saw a sign.

"Washington," I sighed.

"Are we gonna go to the White House mommy?" Stacey asked as she awoken from her slumber.

"Something better Stace."

"Heaven?"

A tear rolled down my eye as I thought of the fact that that was a big possibility.

I kept driving.

Finally we arrived.

"Brent we are at the dock." I said as I shook him.

He grabbed Stacey as we got out of he car. Amara and Jimmy arrived shortly after.

We got on the boat and we all shared a room. To our surprise their was only like twenty people on the ship when it left.

Erica and Stacey fell asleep in the corner holding hands.

Amara fell asleep and Jimmy was occupying himself by playing with her hair.

Jimmy kept rubbing my arm as I tried to keep the tears away.

"Are we going to be safe in Alaska?" I asked.

"Yeah babe, we are." He said as he kissed my lips. I looked at Stacey one more time and fell asleep.
