Fake Love

Kenya POV-

"Is Kenya here?" I heard Shep's voice say on the other side of the door.

"No but I am." Brandon said under his breath.

"What was that?" Shep said.

"I said she's in the kitchen." He gave a fake smile.

"Oh ok. Thanks."

I looked to see Brandon doing the cross symbol as Shep walked away.

"Stop." I silently mouthed to him.

He waved his hand at me and closed the door.

"Hey K." Shep came in.

"Hi." I wiped my now red swollen eyes.

He sighed and looked down. I guess seeing me broken up affected him to.

"Well Kenya the Lord mysteriously allowed O to vanish from prison, like Jesus after the third day in the tomb. And thats a sign when one door closes, he'll bring another, younger, sexier door. I hear the Lord saying walk through." Brandon said and left out the kitchen.

"Ignore him. I rolled my eyes."

Shep chuckled.

"You heard from O?" I asked him.

"Uh...we spoke a brief minute." His voice sorta cracked.

"Really? I went to the jail to bail him out but he wasn't there."

"Really?" He said surprised.

"Yes. I need to explain to him why I hung up on him and why I was wrong. And how sorry I am, but I don't know where he is." I broke down.

Shep sighed. "I know K. Calm down." Shep patted my back.

"Where?" I looked at him. "Is he okay?"

"He's fine. But do not tell him I'm telling you this. Because he told me not to tell you."

"Where is he?" I asked.

"My house. I bailed him out."

"I have to go talk--" i got up.

"K he's angry right now and he'll mollywop the floor with me if he knows I told you. He told me to come and get Livy. Imma take Livy to him. And here." He handed me a key.

"Give me an hour to go somewhere where he cant find me and beat my ass. Then you go over there and talk to him."

"Aww Shep." I hugged him tight. "Thank you."

"Of course."

"Let me go get Livy." I went upstairs and got Livy from Brandon. And fixed her diaper bag. Then brought her to Shep.

"Be careful Shep."

"Girl kids love me. Aint that right Livy?" He looked at Livy in his arms.

She let out a large poot and laughed.

"See thats love." He kissed her cheek.

I laughed kissed her goodbye and saw them out.

"Girl, forget Odell and Jussie. Maybe we focusing on the wrong checks? And he good with kids?"

"Would you stop being a thot?"

Odell POV-

"Baba missed you chocolate princess." I put kisses all over my baby girl's face.

She smiled brightly and giggled.

"You don't know how great you making daddy feel now. He was so sad till he seen you Stink." I kissed her some more.
