"Yuri, calm down..." Minako spoke firmly to the other and then turned her attention to the nurse. "What do you mean by that? You have a patient who is sickly and you refuse to treat him?" "No, it's nothing like that at all. It's not that we don't have the resources either. His condition is too far along, so it would be pretty much--" "Don't you dare say that it would be pointless. Can you even call yourself a nurse?"

Yuri walked away from both women and ignored Minako when she called after him. He couldn't stand it any longer. She was talking about Viktor like he didn't even matter. Looking down at the floor, he sighed and leaned against the wall. He looked down the hall, where the other male's room was and he frowned.

His thoughts started to wonder, like they usually did when he pondered over a serious matter.

It didn't matter that this place was rejecting treatment for Viktor. Yuri would search for another hospital. There's hundreds if not thousands in the world, right? One of them had to have enough empathy to open their doors to him.

"Yuri!" "Huh?" Yuri blinked a couple of times and looked in the direction of Minako's voice. "Why do you space out so much?" He heard her sigh and he pulled himself away from the wall, not wanting to hear whatever it was that she had to say.

"Hey, she said that there is a hospital that will probably take him. You'll never guess where it is..." A grin spread across her lips as she spoke and she looked at Yuri.

"Why are you smiling? What's the big deal about where it is?" "It's in Kyushu!" Yuri's eyes widened and he looked at her in disbelief. "She told me right where it was and it's only a couple of hours by subway to Hasetsu! It's perfect, right?" All Yuri could do was nod. He honestly didn't think that he'd be able to stay at home and thought he'd be in another country or something with the other male. He was shocked beyond compare at how things were turning out.

Maybe Minako was right after all. Maybe this was just another test that life threw at you every once in awhile.

He smiled and looked up at Minako. "Let's go tell Viktor!"

Yuri walked into Viktor's room, with Minako close behind him. He had only been gone for a few hours, but looking over at the other, he could tell that something wasn't right. He didn't look any different yet, but Yuri could feel it.

"He doesn't look any different. I guess it hasn't really taken effect on him yet."

Yuri hoped nothing like that would happen, but he knew that once he started treatments, he'd get rather sickly for a few weeks. Thankfully it didn't last forever, since it was just effects from the medication.

He watched Minako step up to the foot of the bed and noticed her look back at the clock. "We still have a few hours before we have to be at the airport. I hate to say it, but you should wake him up and explain what's going on." "I'm not going on the plane with you. I've already cancelled both my ticket and Viktor's. I'm being transported with him." "Yuri..." "I promised him that I wouldn't leave his side. I don't plan on breaking that promise." "Alright, well, I'm going to head back to the motel and get my things together. I guess I'll see you back home at some point?" "Yeah, I'll be going back to mom's to get some clean clothes and stuff tomorrow." "Okay, I'll fill her in on what's happened when I get back and tell her that you'll be coming back as well." "Thanks..." "No problem."

Minako took a good look at Yuri and smiled. He looked so exhausted. Things were looking up though, so this was a good sign. "Things might be going to get a little tough for awhile, but they will turn out in the end. Try to have a little bit of faith, okay? We've been blessed with at least this much, so not all is lost. He'll need some positive words as well, since he will be undergoing some pretty heavy things." After she finished speaking, Minako stepped up to Yuri and gave him a hug. "I'll see you back home."
