The room was fixed up and Yuri was happy with how it had turned out.
He had brought a couple of his posters from his room and the nurses had been kind enough to let them get put up on the walls.
The clothes sat in the far corner of the room on a chair and the pictures were scattered throughout the room. A couple sat on the table and the rest sat on the stand by Viktor's bed.
Looking around the room again, Yuri smiled. "What do you think? Do you like it?" "Yes, it's lovely..."
It was almost time for the treatment to start and Yuri honestly wished that Minako had been there with them. Viktor didn't need an audience though, so maybe it was for the best.
Hearing a knock on the door, the younger male felt a lump lodge itself in his throat. He wasn't sure if he was ready for this.
Himself aside, how did Viktor feel? He had said that he hadn't gone for treatments in almost two years. How was his body going to react to this coming back all of a sudden?
Yuri turned and walked up to the side of Viktor's bed, just as the nurse entered. "We're going to start the treatment now, alright love?" The nurse was middle aged and had some kind of an accent.
Looking over at Viktor, the raven haired male frowned. He looked tense, very tense...
"We're going to administer it through intravenous. It's the most common way of-" "Just get on with it already..." Viktor cut the nurse off and averted his gaze to his lap. "I already know all about it, so there's no need to explain it to me." Yuri flinched at how cold the male's voice sounded and he reached out, grabbing his left hand. "Just let her do her job, Viktor." "... ..." The older male fell silent and didn't say anything else.

Once the nurse finished preparing everything, she looked over at Yuri. "I'm ready."
The older male flinched when he felt the needle's prick and he instantly felt fingers intertwine in his own. Glancing down, he seen both of their hands together and he felt his heart swell. He didn't have to go through this alone anymore.
He still wasn't sure how to feel about all of it, but he figured that he should take it as something good. How he had wished for someone to be by his side four years ago...
He didn't want to bother Yakov though and he was pretty much the only one he could trust. No one else knew about his condition, because that's the way he had wanted it. He didn't want everyone's pity or sympathy, because it wouldn't do anything to help him. More than anything else, he didn't want people to look at him or treat him differently.

"I'm all done, love...it was successfully administered. You may start feeling the effects soon, since your body has gone so long without it." The nurse turned her attention to Yuri now, "There's a button by his bed." "You can push it if something serious happens and one of us will come." "Alright, thank you." Yuri forced a smile to his face and watched as the nurse gathered her things together.
She left, closing the door behind herself.

I'm sorry that it's so short ;----;
I just didn't know what to add to it at the end...
I'll post chapter 7 in the next couple of days, since this one is so short :)
Don't forget that there is NO character death in this fanfiction.
It's going get pretty bumpy and I must say that I actually cried writing the next few chapters...
BUT, there will be a very happy ending by the last chapter, which will be chapter 11.
Please don't hate me too much...This wasn't an easy subject for me to write...
Please review and let me know what you think of the fanfiction so far ^___^
