Chapter 21

*Writer's POV*

You stood at the doorway with Mari knocking at the door. She stood in front of you and waited patiently. There was some footsteps and papers rustling. The footsteps got closer, and the door opened revealing Masky. He nodded at Mari and then glanced at you. He looked back at Mari and shook his head.
"It's okay, Masky." Mari said and Masky moved out of the doorway. She walked into the room and you followed, glancing at Masky.
     "Hey, Slendy." Mari called out. The door closed behind you.
     "Slenderman is not here yet." Masky said as he went to the desk and picked up some papers. You glanced around and saw a newspaper clipping that caught your eye. You walked slowly over to it, trying to draw less attention to yourself. Mari glanced at you and motioned you back to them.
"It's best not to snoop around someone else's room, especially Slenderman's room." Mari warned as you stepped back to her side. Masky glared at you for a second and then went back to his work. 
     Minutes passed in complete silence. You were starting to get tired from standing and was going to ask Mari for a chair, but Mari sensed your tiredness and slid a chair near you. You thanked her and sat down wondering when Slenderman would arrive.
     "You're early.." A static voice rumbles behind you causing you to jump. Mari smiled and placed a hand on your shoulder.
     "Ehh I think we're on time!" Mari said and patted your back. You glanced up, but quickly looked away.
"I see (Y/N) is here as well..."
"Yes. I thought since she is apart of the sighting, she would be here as well."
"I see..." Slenderman took a seat at his dest and looked over at you. You fidgeted in your chair, getting nervous.
"Have you told her anything about the sighting?" Slenderman asked as he picked up papers and stacked them.
"No, I've only told her she was apart of it." Mari pulled herself a chair and sat down, her feet on the chair. Masky shifted and stood silently, waiting for further instruction.
"Masky, thank you for watching my room. You're dismissed." Slenderman said as he looked at Mari. Masky simply nodded. He walked out and closed the door.
"(Y/N)," you looked up at Slender "do you know anything?" You shook your head and kept it low. You didn't have a good feeling.
"Mari, tell me what you saw in the sighting." Slender ordered. Mari nodded.
"I saw.. (Y/N).." Mari mumbled quietly. She looked up at Slender with a dead serious look. "I also saw Zalgo." Slender sat up with surprise.
     "Who's Zalgo??" You asked uncertainly. Their silence made your heart race and fear build up inside of you. Who is Zalgo? And what do you have to do with him?

     Hello everyone!
     I'm sorry I have updated this in such a long time. I really need to get more focused again. We have had some testing, but right now we're not. I'll try to make more chapters. We've reached 2k and it makes me really happy! I couldn't have done it without you guys. Thank you.
