*Your POV*

"Tell me the story..." Mari demanded. I looked up to the ceiling where she was staring up at. For the first time I noticed it was painted black and had dozens of white dots. There was a slight hint of blue and purple on the ceiling. The white dots shined brightly . It was beautiful.

"They represent stars..." Mari whispered quietly. She kept her hand raised and sighed. "Tell me your story first... Then I'll tell of the stars on my ceiling..." Tell her my story, huh?

"What story?" I asked with confusion in my voice. She didn't move.

"How you and Jack met..." She said smiling. She stared up at her ceiling as if it was showing something. I glanced into her eye and it was filled with a knowledge that humans didn't have. Her deep blue eye was deep and full of depth like there was no end to what she know.

"... It starts at school..." I explained all the details. She nodded and didn't interrupt. Even though we only met today... I felt like I could tell her anything... She seemed to understand what I went through... She smiled as I told her about meeting Jack and at the end of my whole explanation, she sighed. Mari looked as if her mind was full of thoughts. She never stopped looking at her stars.

"The stars... I painted them a long time ago... When I first came to live in the mansion..." Mari mumbled flatly. So, we're in a mansion?

"We're in a mansion?" I accidentally said aloud.

"Yeah..." Mari hesitated, "The Creepypasta Mansion." Creepypasta mansion? Those are just fake stories... But I met Eyeless Jack... I heard of creepypastas, but I never really looked into them...

"I came 2 years ago... When I was 14 years old..." Mari sighed and closed her eye. I got up and grabbed the photo of her.

"This picture," I pointed at her, "this is you, right? When did you take this?" Mari opened her eye and glanced at the photo, her eye filled with a sadness beyond comprehension.

"That was taken exactly a week before I was taken here..."

     "You were taken here?"

"Yes, but we're getting off track... I told you I would only tell you about the origin of my stars..." I glanced at Mari and thought I saw a tear running down her blood stained cheek. It wasn't a normal tear though. It was blood.

"About 11 months before I came here I went to go see the stars with him..." She grabbed the photo and pointed to the blushing boy. "He was best friend... As well as my lover..." Her voiced cracked slightly. I glanced at her again, and this time I was sure that she was crying. I just didn't know what to do, so I stayed silent. In some situations, it's better to stay quiet.

"We went to this field... One that was far from city lights and other people... We laid on the ground and talked... Talked for hours, waiting for the stars to appear... The sun went down and the sky gave way into this beautiful spectrum of colors... The sunset was magnificent... Soon enough the stars appeared... They shone brightly and beautifully. I said 'I wish we can stay like this forever' and he told me 'We can if we want', but I knew this was impossible." Mari sighed sadly and wiped away a blood tear that nearly fell onto the bed. "He took out his phone, took a picture of the sky and told me 'I will print this photo out and I want you to paint this perfect moment for me'. He then said 'If you agree to do this... Then promise me that you will be mine as well...' Now, for a second I was confused and startled by his question, so I asked 'What do you mean by become yours?' He then said 'I mean... Will you be my girlfriend forever?' and I was so surprised and overwhelmed with happiness and joy that I told him yes..." Mari looked at the picture, smiled, but frowned immediately. "I came here and painted the stars to remind me of that perfect moment forever..." I stared at the wall, trying to imagine the scene. It must have been perfect.

"Wow... Tha-" As I tried to talk, the door slammed open and Jack was at the door.

"(Y/N), Slender wants to see you..." Jack's voice was grave. Mari sat up and quickly replaced her frown with a smile.

"I'm gonna go kill! Byeeee Jackyyyy! And you're welcome about protecting (Y/N) while you were gone!" She got up, grabbed a pair of knives and she walked to Jack. She stopped and whispered something to him. Jack nodded stiffly and Mari left the room with a last goodbye and telling me to come whenever to talk.

"Let's go, (Y/N)..." Jack stood waiting at the door as I got up and walked over to him.
