Chapter Three: Bad Things To Come

~ The Next Day; January 1st, 2016 The Dark Angel Tattoo and Peircing Shop ~

Kyrie Pulled up to her shop in her Ford F-150 blood red pickup truck, her mix tape CD blaring Shallow Grave by The Birthday Massacre. Kyrie turned down her music as she pulled into her designated parking spot and turned off the engine. She hopped out of her truck and locked it before she went to the front door of the Dark Angel Tattoo and Piercing shop she owned. She unlocked the front door to the shop and went inside, heading for the small room off to the side of the front desk where she kept a small laptop where she did all her music and things for the shop. She pulled a large black leather computer chair up to the desk the computer sat on and turned on the laptop, typing in a series of numbers for its password. Once the computer had booted up Kyrie went straight for her music files and chose the Ghost file, booting up her media player and selecting the song "Ritual" by the band Ghost. Music filled the whole building from the many speakers placed throughout and Kyrie smiled as she walked out of the room and went to the front desk to check her appointment book.

Two hours passed from the time Kyrie had opened the shop and already she had three customers come in for different piercings, but no one for a tattoo just yet. The bell above the front door jingled as someone walked into the lobby area, and Kyrie looked up from her spot in one of the tattoo rooms where she was currently setting up her cast iron production tattoo machine liner H35 and her cast iron production tattoo machine shader H37. "I'll be there to help you in just a minute," Kyrie yelled out the door as she got up from her seat. "It's just me babe!" Angel called as he walked back towards the room Kyrie was in. "Oh hey baby!" Kyrie said as she walked over to her fiancee and hugged him. Angel smiled and hugged her back, placing a kiss upon her lips. "Hey," he whispered against her lips. Kyrie smiled. "Hey," she whispered back.

"So when's your first appointment?" Angel asked as Kyrie went back to work getting her machines together. "Uh, not until 10 am I think. Can you check my book for me?" She asked him as she got a couple sets of little ink cups out and started placing them next to her machines. Angel nodded and walked out of the room over to the desk in the lobby and opening her appointment books. "Looks like the first one is at 10:15 am," he called back to Kyrie. "Awesome, still have time," Kyrie said coming out of the room and heading up the set of stairs in the back room that lead up to the second floor of the shop, which was actually a small apartment area.

Kyrie walked into the small kitchen area in the upstairs apartment and opened the fridge, looking for something quick she could make for breakfast. "Damn," she whispered as she closed the fridge, finding nothing she could eat quickly. "You forgot to eat breakfast didn't you babe?" Angel asked, coming into the small kitchen. "Yeah," Kyrie sighed as she looked through the cupboards. "Damnit Mike," she whispered as she closed the cabinets. "He was suppossed to restock last night and he never did." Kyrie turned to Angel, about to ask him if he could go and pick something quick up for her to eat but she stopped when she saw him holding a Jack In The Box bag. Kyrie smiled. "I had a feeling you hadn't eaten before you left so I picked up something for you," Angel said as he placed the bag down on the small table in the middle of the kitchen. "Sausage and egg cuissant with a hashbrown and extra sandwhich just in case," he told her as he opened the bag and handed Kyrie her food. Kyrie smiled and gave him a quick peck on the lips. "You know me so well," she told him as they sat down. Angel just nodded as he sat down and pulled his own food out of the bag.

Once the two were done eating they walked back downstairs and sat around in the computer room playing a couple games on the laptop until they heard the bell above the door jingle again. "Coming!" Kyrie yelled as she closed down the Five Nights At Freddy's game and walked out of the room. She wasn't expecting the sight that she saw when she entered the lobby....
