Chapter Six: Mysterious Letter

~ Two Month's Later ~

It had been two months since the accident at the shop and Kyrie was still nowhere close to finding her brother. She sighed as she got out of bed and walked into the bathroom. She hadn't been able to sleep well since she found out her brother had been taken and being pregnant at the most inopportune moment wasn't helping her stress levels.

After Kyrie got done in the bathroom she went into the kitchen and pulled out a mixing bowl and the pancake mix from the pantry along with some eggs and mesuring cups. She poured three cups of mix into the bowl, cracked two eggs and filled up the messuring cup with 2 cups of water. She grabbed a whisk and whisked it all together before she pulled out a pan and turned the knob on the stove. Once the pan was heated enough Kyrie pulled out a ladle and dipped it into the mix and pouring it into the pan. She waited about a minute and a half before she flipped the pancake, the side golden brown just the way they all liked it.

Once she was done making pancakes she walked the plate of pancakes over to the kitchen table along with paper plates and forks and knives. After she had set the table she went into her room and walked over to the side of the bed that Angel was sleeping on. "Baby, wake up. Breakfast is ready," she whispered to him. Angel grunted sleepily and opened his eyes a fraction, before wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her back onto the bed and snuggling into her back. Kyrie giggled and turned over just to have Angel bury himself in the middle of her breasts, which had gone up a cup size since her recent condition.

"Really Babe?" Kyrie giggled as she stroked his shoulder length dark brown curls. "yes really," Angel said from between her breasts. Kyrie rolled her eyes and got up from her spot, making Angel get up as well. "Come on, breakfast is ready," Kyrie said, walking out of the room. "What about your sisters? And Steven?" Angel asked. "Let 'em sleep!" Kyrie yelled back, kind of defeating the purpose of "letting them sleep".

Kyrie walked outside to pick up the mail after she had finished her breakfast. She pulled the multitude of envelopes out of the mailbox and walked back inside, sifting through all the bills and adds as she walked ba k into the kitchen. She paused when she came across a black square envelope with gold lettering on it addressed to her. She found another black one addressed to Angel as well. "Hey babe?" Kyrie said as she turned to Angel who was still scarfing down his large stack of chocolate chip pancakes. "Yes babygirl?" he asked with a mouth full of pancakes. Kyrie rolled her eyes. "Dont talk with your mouth full," she scolded before she handed him the letter. Angel took the letter and flipped it over, seeing a name and address on the back. His eyes got suddenly wide. "Get the family, we need a meeting NOW."
