Chapter Four:

Kyrie walked into the lobby area and saw a man with his back turned to her and Angel. She recognized the long blonde hair immediately, even if the trench coat threw her off at first. "Justin? What the fuck are you doing here? I though I told you to leave me alone. Wasn't the restraining order enough to get it through your head?" Kyrie yelled at the man, who turned around to face them. It was indeed Justin Brown, Kyrie's ex before she got back in touch with Angel. The reason behind the two breaking up was the fact that Justin had alway brought up her past exes- especially Angel since they knew one another in High School- and because he had been verbally abusive to her, constantly calling her a whore, slut and bitch multiple times a day. The only reason Kyrie had stayed with him so long was because he had always vowed to kill himself if she left him and she had refused to have his death blamed on her and have her concience nag her for the rest of her life. The boy- because he was no man, for a man would never treat a lady like he did- had even called the cops on his sister for assault once just because Sam had tapped him on the leg when they had all been in the car on the way back from one of Kyrie's friends baby shower. She had tapped him on the leg all because he had been direspectful to Sam by saying a bunch of slanderous things about her catholic faith, mentioning "666" a lot and Lucifer (Justin had been a Anton LeVay Satanic follower) as well.

Justin turned to Face Kyrie and Angel and his blue eyes were full of sorrow. "Hey Kyrie," he said, not moving from his spot. "I know I'm not supposed to be here and all but someone sent me with a message," he said, his voice full of sorrow. "And what message would that be?" Kyrie snarled, already fed up with Justin's games. Justin sighed. "Raymond Vegas told me to tell you he has your brother Mike," he said as he opened his trench coat. Kyrie didn't even have time to react to the news that her brother had been captured by the man who had killed almost her whole family, because as soon as Justin opened his jacket Kyrie and Angel saw the packs of C-4 and the detonator strapped to his chest. "I'm so sorry Kyrie, I'll always love you," Justin whispered before he pressed the button on the remote detonator device Kyrie hadn't noticed was in his hand. "Kyrie!" Angel screamed as he grabbed her and hit the deck behind the desk.

The explosion was blinding and painful but what hurt more for Kyrie was the pain of the flames that were engulfing what was left of her shop. She could barely hear a thing because of the blast and the last thing she saw before she blacked out was Angel's motionless body on top of hers. Then her vision slowly turned to black and she fell unconscious.
