Chapter seven:The Plan

Everyone sat in the living room area as Kyrie paced around tapping the letter she received from Raymond Vegas, the man who killed her parents. Sam and Kelly both looked concerned while Steven sat there in deep thought. "Whats inside the envelope?" Steven asked. Kyrie handed him her letter and continued to pace. Steven opened the envelope with one of the many knives he carried on his person at all times, Angel doing the same with his own letter. Steven pulled out the letter and opened the formal looking parchment card.

"'Miss Kyrie Kerr'," Steven read aloud. "'You and two people of your choosing have been cordially invited to attend a masquerade gala that will take place on March 21st, of this year. Enclosed in this letter are two plus one tickets as well as a ticket for you yourself. Please wear a formal gown to the gala for this is a black tie event. We look forward to seeing you at the party', and its signed as Raymond Vegas," Steven said finishing off the letter. He pulled off the three tickets that were taped to the bottom of the letter and looked at them carefully. "It says that this ticket is for you and the other two are the plus ones that you can take," Steven said handing her the black and gold tickets. Kyrie took them, looked at them for about two seconds then handed them back.

"Mine says the same thing but I only got one plus one and not two," Angel said, showing the card with the tickets attached. "I wonder why?" Steven said, contemplative. "I don't know but we have to go," Kyrie said, pulling out her phone and pulling up the dress site her sister had shown her the other day. "What are you doing Kye?" Sam asked, watching her sister closely. "I'm ordering a gown off that sight Kell showed me," Kyrie said as she opened her email and began typing out a message to the designers of what she wanted. "Your ordering one of those for this thing?" Kelly asked. "Yep," was all Kyrie said. "I guess we need to go dress shopping as well Kell," Sam said, looking at her sister.

"Nope," Kyrie said, not looking up from her phone. "What do you mean 'Nope'?" Sam said looking at Kyrie. "Cause I'm already working on that too," Kyrie told them. She turned her phone around and showed her two sisters her choices. "This one for Sam," she said showing Sam a medieval black and gold gown with open sleeves and a corset bodice. "This one for Kelly," she said pulling up a photo of a gold and blue silk gown with a corset bodice. "And this one for me," she said showing a green and silver gown with a corset bodice. All three dresses had hoods to go with them. "How much is this gonna cost you?" Sam said skeptically. "$500.89," Kyrie said nonchalantly, shrugging her shoulders. Sam and Kelly looked at there sister in shock. "Are you fucking kidding me?!" Sam yelled. "That's way too much sis," Kelly added. Kyrie shrugged again. "Its no big problem. I have way more than enough in my savings account to get twenty dresses like this and not make a dent in it," Kyrie explained. "So buying three dresses like this for that much is nothing."

"Damn," Kelly said, looking surprised. Kyrie just nodded. "Its settled then, we get the dresses, the guys get a couple tuxes and we all go to this masquerade gala."
