People rushed left and right as they made sure all the preparations were ready. The city ground was decorated and all adjustments needed were done skillfully. In the city's town, omegas made sure their children and mates looked best as they got ready to leave their homes and join their friends and family at the city ground. Today was the day they had all been waiting for.
"Mommy what are we doing here?" A little boy asked his mother as he was led into the open gates of the city ground.
"We are here to watch the ceremony." The mother replied to his son.
A lot of people made their way pass the gate and she made sure to hold her son's hand tight in hers so that she won't lose him as she made her way pass the gate. She sighed in relief when she got inside and then led her son to the nearest stand where people where taking their seats.
"What ceremony?" The boy asked curiously as he sat down beside his mother.
"The mating ceremony." The mother smiled at her son. "It is king alpha Kenneth's mating ceremony and we were invited."
"I love alpha Kenneth!" The boy exclaimed.
"Yes child, we all love our king." The woman said while gazing at all the people present and the others entering the gate.
Despite the love for their king being the reason why such a crowd was present at the ground, the people wanted to see who their king was mated to. They wanted to see who would be ruling beside their king.

Meanwhile, Roman was having a hard time getting himself together. He was nervous and no matter what his friends said he couldn't get himself together.
Roman was happy that today was his mating ceremony but the ceremony itself was what gave him nerves. He wished his mate had chosen another kind of ceremony and not the one he was expecting to do. He had an argument days ago with his mate the moment he understood what this ceremony was expected of him.

"What the hell Kenneth? Are you out of your mind?" Roman yelled at his mate on the phone.
"I take it this is about the ceremony." Kenneth guessed.
"You are damn right about that! What made you choose that ceremony out of the five? Do you understand what it is about or you just chose it for fun?"
"Roman babe I know what I chose and it was the best choice for us. I chose that because of the damage my mother made in the kingdom. He was cruel and people knew that. They have hope in me as their king and now that you have to step up beside me, they are all not trusting on you and it is a bad thing. I chose that ceremony because it will judge the person in you and the people will witness that you are a good person worth to be their king beside me."
