9. Esperanto//Obsession

Danny sighed as he stared at the swirls and doors he knew. "I guess there's no turning back now."

Dash hears this and starts to walk to the front. "Um, Dash was it? Can go back to your seat? We don't know of we'll hit something and someone," Maddie quickly glares at Jack, "forgot to add seatbelts."

Danny watches him back to the his seat with Paulina, but quickly puts a L on his forehead. He lays his head on the other seat, trying to calm down.

"Danny!" Valerie whisper yells. "Please tell me what's going on! I want to know!"

Danny sighed and took out a pen and paper. Valerie stares puzzled, but then nods with a pencil in hand.

I don't feel like explaining the whole thing so long story short. Lab accident, half ghost...

That's not enough for me.. Explain the rest later. And just to let you know, if you don't I'll consider overshadowing.

Valerie winked at him, partially joking. Danny nervously chuckled only to have ghost breath come out. "Damnit Wulf!"

Valerie thumped him on his head for cursing, then asked, "who's Wulf?"

The Speeder is pulled to a halt and the adults stands up. "Chicken Soup for the Soul! What's going on?" Mr. Lancer was ignored while the class and the Fentons rush outside.

"Freeze, ecto freak!" They both shouted with unnecessarily large weapons in hands.

They big, hairy, creature confusingly stared at them then said, "Friend Danny told me he'll be arriving in this contraption. Is he in there?" In a language they wasn't familiar of. 

With the Fentons hands on the triggers, Danny ran in front of them and shouted, "Don't shoot!"

Everyone had frozen in their places til Maddie yelled, "move, before it kills you!!"

"Friend?" The creature asked, nervously.

Danny ignored him and turned to his mom. "He has a name, you know," he sassed, then turned to the ghost.

"Wulf, what are you doing here? I told you about the field trip and to not greet us!" Danny semi-screamed at Wulf while everyone stared in shock. Jack had lowered his gun, but Maddie did not.

"I am sorry friend. I had forgotten," Wulf shrugged, "also, Princess Dora wants to see your classmates. You know she doesn't takes up with any refusing."

Danny sighed, knowing it's true. "All right, all right," he groaned, "tell her that were on the way."

Wulf nods a claws out and huge hole for the Specter Speeder to fit in, then jumps in. "Wait a minute," Danny realized. He slowly turned around and the questions started. 

"DANIEL JAMES FENTON!" His mother shouted at him while Jack kept quiet, "WHY DO YOU KNOW A GHOST!? AND WHAT LANGUAGE WERE YOU SPEAKING!?"

"Esperanto," Mr. Lancer had cut in, "it's a dead language. A really dead language. I personally only know a few words, but only one I understood was friend."

"Because he is my friend.." Danny mumbled.

Maddie's head shot up from Me. Lancer's explanation. "What. Was. That?" Her teeth gritted.
