background: jesy and perrie are already dating yet they are frowned upon by family members, friends, etc. this is inspired by grace vanderwaal's song 'light the sky' :)

Jesy and Perrie are far more than inseparable. Their love was something once in a lifetime; some might say it's too good to be true, but their paths crossing was fate. It had to be. And they weren't going to let anyone tell them otherwise. Of course, people did try to, though.

Jesy had a grip on Perrie's hand, their fingers intertwined as Perrie cowered behind Jesy. Jesy was trying to stand up to her parents about the two of them, and things weren't exactly going amazing."Jessica, you can do what you want, but we just can't support you." Her father told her, folding his arms with a huff. He was disappointed, along with her mother, that their daughter wasn't fulfilling the lifestyle they planned for her. The lifestyle that included marrying a rich, handsome man and gifting them with grandchildren.
"Why not?" Jesy responded, her scared voice disguised with fake bravery. She was terrified her parents might throw her out at this point.
"What you're doing is just... remorseful. It's wrong, and I won't support someone who's doing wrong." Her mother told her.
Jesy took a breath, "Loving someone is remorseful?" Her grip on Perrie's hand tightened with fear, with anger, a whole surge of different emotions.
"Your type of love is, it's just sinful."
Jesy stopped thinking her words through, she spoke on impulse, "What exactly is 'my type of love', mother?"
"You know what she's talking about, Jessica. I'm sorry but I just can't have this type of mistake in my house." Her father said, concluding they were going to kick her out.
Tears brimmed Jesy's eyes, "I'm a mistake? Do you realize what you're doing? I'm your daughter!"
Perrie's grip on Jesy's hand softened and she began rubbing soft circles on Jesy's knuckles to calm her down."I'm sorry, just... go pack your things, please." Her mother looked down, not wanting to make eye contact with her own daughter.
"Where am I meant to go?" Jesy cried, tears now freely falling down her cheeks.
"I don't know, just not here." Her father pointed upstairs, "Now go pack up. No more words."
Jesy sniffled, "Fine then." She pulled Perrie upstairs to her room, pulling out a large suitcase.
"I'll help you, babe." Perrie said quietly, pulling out another suitcase, "I'll pack your makeup and things. Also, when I'm done, I want to talk to you."
Jesy simply nodded and started throwing clothes into the suitcase, not bothering to be neat. She crammed her closet into one suitcase, grabbing another for shoes and other miscellaneous things. She finished in about ten minutes, Perrie following soon after. She sat with her on the bed, holding both her hands. They sat facing each other, legs crossed.
"Listen, first I need you to breathe, okay?" Perrie wiped Jesy's tears and guided her breathing, trying to get her to calm down.
Once stable, Jesy nodded.
"Alright, I have a place for us to stay. My two friends own an apartment with an extra bedroom and they're happily letting us stay, so don't fret about needing somewhere. Next, I know that you're upset but hear me out when I say that our love is too strong to ever be broken. Come see," Perrie guided Jesy to the window before opening it. She guided her out to the roof where they both sat down.
Perrie wrapped her arm around Jesy and continued, "Look at all the stars. You see them? How bright they are?"
Jesy instinctively rested her head on Perrie's shoulder as she nodded.
"When we're together, we can outshine all the stars. Our love spreads across every galaxy, bouncing across the universe. It's an array of shooting stars and moonlight across the seas. It's everything beautiful about the world. It's bond that will never be broken. Jesy, I love you more than I could ever explain. Remember, everything happens for a reason and this is only going to make us stronger."
Jesy smiled softly, a bit taken aback by Perrie's sweet words, "I love you so much, Perrie. Thank you. I can't explain how much I love you either, it's impossible to put into words."
"The brightest things are dull compared to you and me, let's show that to the world." Perrie pressed a kiss to Jesy's forehead.
Jesy nodded, "If they don't like it, they can fuck off. Let's go." She smiled, Perrie's words filling her up with confidence. Perrie followed Jesy back inside and grabbed two of three large suitcases while Jesy took the other. The two girls walked down the stairs and to the door.
"Before I go, though," Jesy said, turning around to face her parents, "I want my last moments in this place to be special. I want you two to remember it. So," Jesy cupped Perrie's face and smashed their lips together in the most sparking kiss they've ever had.
Without a word after splitting apart, the two walked out the door, ready to gain the strength of another battle.
