background: they're dating already; that's all you need to know.

How two people can have such a huge effect on the other remains a mystery, but it happens— and when it does, it's almost magical. The girl Jesy had fallen so madly in love with had changed everything, and vice versa. However, them changing for the good seemed to change everyone else for the worse. Not everyone was as happy with them being together as they were, but having each other made the criticism a lot more bearable.

From the second they met on that snow-covered park bench, they formed a bond and trust so strong. They snuck around and kept from the outside world where it was unsafe for them to be. It was sad, but thrilling. Sneaking off was their thing up until it got too much that one time in Perrie's room.

The realization washed over the two of them at the same time. Perrie wanted to be able to take Jesy with her places and be able to proudly introduce her to people as her girlfriend. Jesy wanted Perrie to tag along with her on holidays and Christmases. That's when they spilled the relationship. They told their friends first, and that wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. Telling their parents, though, didn't run over smoothly. Neither girl was on regular speaking terms with their parents, so what difference would it make to leave for a night? It didn't seem like much, but to them, this was everything. This one night, they were going out to be themselves and not feel ashamed of doing so. Tonight was their night, and they weren't letting anything get in the way.

Jesy made her way up to Perrie's balcony and opened the window, "Ready?"

Perrie whipped around, her hair wet and her body wrapped in a towel from just previously getting out the shower. "Don't scare me like that."

Jesy shrugged with a smile on her face, "I like scaring you, especially in your current get-up."

"Typical you," Perrie scoffed, "Anyways, keep your voice down, my parents will hear."

"Your door is locked, I'm fine." Jesy chuckled, "You're so jumpy."

"Speaking of doors, why didn't you use one? Why did you have to open my window when there's a perfectly good door next to you?"

"It's more thrilling this way. This is how I snuck in before you even had this balcony. It's for old time's sake." She jumped up and maneuvered her way in, landing on the window seat, "Also," She shut the window, "I love this seat."

"I know you love that seat." Perrie walked up to her mirror and started brushing her hair.

"Why do I love this seat?" Jesy grinned.

Perrie smiled, "That's where I kissed you for the first time."

"Correct. I could use a kiss by the way." She reached her arms out.

Perrie chuckled and walked over to the brunette, who wrapped her arms around her girlfriends neck and pulled their lips together.

They both smiled into it, the memory of their first kiss flooding into mind. This was a special seat to them. Jesy would sneak in and they'd sit here, talk, and look at the stars in the sky. Sometimes, Perrie would fall asleep and Jesy would put her in bed, then sneak back out before morning arrived.

"I have to get dressed," Perrie split apart, "I'll give you plenty more kisses tonight."

"You better."

"I will, I promise." Perrie walked to her closet, starting to get dressed. In the meantime, Jesy rested against the pillows and looked out the window.

Perrie finished up and packed her backpack, then smiled when she saw Jesy had calmed down from her hype. She took a quick picture to remember how beautiful her girlfriend looked in the moment, then quietly walked over to her. She placed a quick kiss on her cheek, "Ready to go?"
