so here's my oneshots book :) someone commented the idea and i was with it so, yeah here i am. i'm not sure how often this will be updated, but here's something to keep y'all entertained i guess lmao.

Jesy was lost and alone. She had no idea where she was, nor did she care. She stared down at her feet, occasionally kicking rocks. She had been split from her previous boyfriend for a few months now, but sometimes the situation still got to her: how it ended, why it ended, the list goes on.

The girls had supported her through it, and she appreciated every ounce of love and affection they gave her, but nothing could just erase the pain she was in, and how long it took her to fall out of love with him. Sure, she still had some recollection of love toward him, she would always, but she didn't really hate or love him. She didn't know how she felt.

And that's why she was walking, walking aimlessly around nowhere, not caring about where she could end up. She was walking to clear her head, to straighten out her thoughts, to try to get herself together, to try to get over it, like she should have a few months back.

A few raindrops started falling and Jesy looked up for the first time in what must have been about thirty minutes. She saw they were falling faster, and harder, and she could hear thunder in the distance getting closer with each passing second.

Now she regretted walking around obliviously.

She pulled her phone out her back pocket and went to her previous phone calls. The most recent was to Perrie, so that's who she called. Now thinking of it, she didn't really have a reason to call Perrie. Neither of them could legally drive, but something in Jesy told her to call Perrie, so she followed her instinct.

The phone rang about two and a half times before Perrie picked up.

"Hey, Pez?" Jesy said, a little shake in her voice. She was cold, and now she was getting scared as well.

"Hey Jes, what's up?"

"I'm kind of stuck in the rain, I don't really know where I am. And it was kind of pointless to call and tell you, but—"

"I'll come get you. We can walk back to my house together."

"Are you s-sure?" Jesy started shivering, being that now she was completely soaked.

"Of course, I could use a little adventure." Perrie chuckled, "So, do you at least know what street you're on? Any street signs?"

Jesy looked around, seeing a sign faintly in the distance. She read it out loud and Perrie claimed it was familiar.

"I think I know where that is and I'm pretty sure that my house is only five minutes walking distance from it. Stay there, I'll be there in a bit."

"Thanks." Jesy smiled, thankful to have someone like Perrie.

"No problem." Perrie smiled also, hanging up afterwards.

Jesy sat on the sidewalk and propped her head in her hands, watching, hearing, and feeling the rain progressively get harder. Five minutes passed as if it were five hours. She was cold, tired, drenched. She just wanted to sleep. It was about 6 at night, and she had been walking since about 4:30. Obviously, she would be immensely tired.

But when Perrie showed up, she was suddenly awake, and very, very thankful.

She sighed with relief, "Perrie," She stood up and ran to hug her best friend.

"What are you doing out here?" Perrie asked, grabbing Jesy's hand so they could walk back to Perrie's house.

"Just clearing my head."

"Do you need to talk about anything?" Perrie asked concernedly, turning to look at Jesy.

Jesy looked back at Perrie, their eyes locking with each other's for a comfortable moment or two. No one could deny the bit of romantic tension that stare held, but both the girls shook it off.

"No, I'm okay. Thanks, though." Jesy responded, her grip on Perrie's hand tightening a little.

"Is it about... never mind."

"No, you're right. It is. The rain is making it worse. He was my first kiss-in-the-rain kiss." Jesy sighed, remembering how it felt, then cringing the moment she thought of it.

"I've never had a kiss in the rain." Perrie said.

"It was nice in the moment, but now I cringe when I imagine it with him."

"Don't imagine it with him then." Perrie stated, as if it was that simple.

Just then a lightning bolt struck just a block away. Both the girls gasped and jumped closer to each other. Perrie dove to bury her face in Jesy's shoulder, Jesy dove to bury her face in Perrie's shoulder.

Well it didn't work that way. Their lips brushed across each other's for a second, causing them both to jump back and look at each other. They didn't say anything, but both of them now felt the romantic tension. They didn't move from their spots, they just stared.

They looked into each other's eyes, studying each other. Jesy glanced down at Perrie's lips for a split second, but Perrie definitely took notice. As if they could read each other's minds, both of them moved their faces closer to each other. They shared one more reassuring stare, then they went in.

The sparks that erupted from the kiss were more powerful than the lightning that had struck in front of them just moments before.

Their lips fit together perfectly, and they both knew this. They took in every feeling, ever aspect of the situation and melted into the kiss they shared.

They both knew it felt right.

ok this sucked, but here's the first oneshot.
