It's been a couple hours since I've gotten my father back. I've never been happier in my whole life. The more I talk to him the more I see him within myself. We truly bonded together over a short amount of hours.
" So my littlest wolf, what have been your interests?" He asks me with a grin
" I sing a lot, dance, and I also do a lot of art. It's kind of my passion you know? In art... I feel as if I can get out all my feelings onto a page." I say with a small smile
" Wow" he says looking at me
" What?"
" We are so alike you and I....it's truly incredible. You are definitely my daughter"
" I'll take that as a compliment"
He chuckles and says " We are very alike besides the singing and dancing part. At least."
We both start to laugh at that and for the next hour or so we just talk about my life. Who my bestfriends are, what school I would like to go to someday, what's my favorite subject in school, and just everything.
" Hope" I hear my mom say from behind us. We both turn to look at her. " I know that you are having the time of your life father-daughter bonding but there are a couple other people who you need to meet."
In comes four people. I knew them. My eyes widen as I realize they are my aunts and uncles.
" Hello Hope. I'm Elijah. Your uncle." The first one says.
" Of course I know who you are." I say smiling
We both hug each other when I'm pulled away by Rebekah I believe her name is.
" My my look at you. Your gorgeous. And you have fashion taste... good thing you didn't get it from the rest of your family." She says with a laugh
" It's nice to meet you aunt Rebekah" I say hugging her
" What about me love? Can't forget your awesome uncle Kol!" I hear
I turn around to see my fathers youngest brother Kol. " Kol...I've heard so much about you." I say laughing and go over to hug him as well.
" And we save the best for last...I'm Freya. " I hear a feminine voice say
I turn to see my aunt Freya. " How could I forget about the witchy aunt Freya." I say smiling
"Wait..you know your a witch?" My father asks
" I actually found out recently. I was snooping through some of moms old stuff and I found out." I say with a glare towards my mom
" Have you learned anything?" Rebekah asked me
" I've learned a few spells here and there from a friend of mine who's a witch."
" Listen Hope..I don't like the idea of you learning magic from anyone outside of our own family. You don't know who your enemies are....or who you can trust. Our family is in a weak state right now. After all these years of being imprisoned, we need to reciprocate. So for now on I want Freya to be teaching you." My father says seriously
" Ok. I understand." I say with a smile
" Good. Now it's getting pretty late my littlest wolf so why don't you head up stairs?" My father says smiling at me.
" Ok. Wait why do you call me your littlest wolf?"
My parents look at each other and finally my father says " That's a story for another time."
" Ok...I love you all. Goodnight." I say and walk upstairs to my room.
After all these years. I've finally gotten what I've always wanted. A family. This is the life I've been dreaming of having since I was young. And now I've got it.
Hayley's POV:
" Now Hayley, would you like to tell me why our daughter has no idea what else she is?" Klaus asks me raising his eyebrows
" Listen Klaus, I don't want her knowing any of that yet. I don't want her to believe that she's a monster. Because if she thinks that she is...she'll become one. I want my daughter to stay innocent and safe for as long as possible."
" Hayley she'll find out eventually. With us being back now, put enemies out bound to find out and retaliate. It's better you tell her before she finds out for herself." Rebekah tells me
" I know."
" Ok, well it's been a long day. Why don't we all get some sleep and we'll continue to talk about this in the morning." Klaus says
" Ok" I say
" Nik" Elijah says
" Yes brother?"
" Thank you for sacrificing so much for our family. You gave up everything...including seeing your daughter grow into the beautiful young adult she is. I will never be able to pay you back for this. I love you brother. And I will fight by your side to destroy Marcel for what he has done." Elijah says seriously. And we all smirk back.
A war is about to begin again.
