Jasmine's P.O.V.
A smirk began to creep onto my face as I repeated Landon's words.
"You can arrange for Justin and I to meet?" I asked nice and slow to confirm what he had just said.
He gave a flat response. "I guess- you know if it'll really please you"
I looked at Landon in an incredulous manner. Of course it would please me, was that even a question? He sat on a chair by the granite table at the back of the kitchen with a straight face, as I gushed over what he had just said.
"But wait," I began, questioning his approach, "I swear I have body guards refraining me, how are you going to arrange for me to meet Justin if Mario has people watching my every move"
He shrugged his shoulders. "I'll figure that out. However, I'm warning you, it's going to be a short meet"
I nodded. Short or long, at least I'd be meeting him.
"As for now princess," Landon spoke, in a sarcastic tone, "why don't you go back and sit on the sofa, your guards are coming by soon"
Although he was doing a lot in my favour and a lot to help me out, he irritated me quite a bit. It didn't help that he was incredibly good looking. I was annoyed by him, yet intrigued by him at the same time. He sat across from me, wearing a smug grin, seeming to show excessive pride. Although he wasn't related to James, they had a lot in common. Not with their personality- not at all- but with their appeal. It seemed to be so easy for both of them to arouse interest and curiosity within a person, without even trying. The first time I met James, I sure as hell was fascinated by his looks, and Landon, well he was similar. Landon just had more confidence, and jock like attitude, making him different from James.
I had to say also, Landon was slightly better looking than James.
Now of course his arrogance and straight forwardness was irritating, but he reminded me just like the high school populars. The boys that attracted everyone, despite their cockiness.
Realizing I'd been staring at him while profoundly in thought, I snapped out of my attempts to figure him out, and got up from the table.
"Well, it was a pleasure to speak to you, but I should probably head back to my sofa before my guards find me in a deep conversation with you- or before you attempt to kiss me again" I told him, being rather bitchy and sarcastic. It was fun being a bitch around him.
He replied in a scornfully derisive way, "the bitch sure does need to be put back into her place"
I let out an obviously sarcastic laugh.
"Landon sure doesn't seem to find me a bitch when he tries to kiss me, now does he?" I hostilely countered back. If he had kissed me, I might as well taunt him about it.
Unfortunately for me, my comment didn't have any affect on Landon, and he got up to approach me. "Is that how it's going to be Jasmine?"
I tilted my head to the side and gazed coldly at his mocking expression. A sly smirk came upon his face, and I immediately knew he was going to do something.
My doubts were right as he aggressively pushed me back, pinning me against the kitchen wall. He became incredibly close to me- physically- with his hips forced against mine, and sweet breath on my face. I froze from the contact, he was uncomfortably close, yet I couldn't manage to push him back.
He leaned in, so his lips were barely touching mine and whispered "I could definitely just kiss you again princess"
Hopeless against his strength and force, I etched my head back, averting my gaze. Having no other option, I took him off guard by spitting. Taken back by my actions, Landon immediately let go of me and stumbled back, bringing a hand to his face to wipe off the spit.
