Have you ever been so deep in sleep that you can hear stuff happening around you and for whatever reason you see them in your dream? Well i was dreaming that i was in a middle of a big room full of loud sounds, different sounds all around, i was trying to cover my ears but i can still heard the sound like it was right next to my right ear. I open my eyes to look at the source of the noise and hundreds of alarm clocks was surrounding me....... alarms.......
"OHHH SHIT!!!" I jumped out of bed and picked up my phone '9:45'. I ran around the room like crazy gathering my close and put it on as fast as i could. "Oh shit, shit, shit!!" How could i sleep through my alarm clock! I pick up my shoes and sat in the corner chair to put my shoes on when i saw something in the bed moved.
"Good morning..." her voice made me look up from my task at hand.
"Good morning" i mumble while finishing with my last shoes.
"Are you late? Where are you going now?" She asked me while sitting up in bed.
"Yes, mommy duties." I said and got up getting my purse and wallet i walked up to her and kiss her head. "Thank you so much for last night, i needed that." I said while walking towards the door.
"You're very much welcome, i'll text you when i get some free time to meet up before i go. I'll be busy the next couple of days." She said, i was right outside the door ready to close it.
"Yeah, do that, don't leave without letting me know please" i yelled and close the door without waiting for a respond.
"Hold up pleaseee" i yelled at the person in the elevator while running to get there before it close.
"Uff... thank you" i said to the man next to me. I looked for my phone in my purse, i found the name i needed and called.
"Finally you decide to call"
"Good morning to you too" i said with my voice full of sarcasm.
"Don't bull shit me! Where were you? You know you're daughter is here waiting for you for the last half a hour ready to go spend her day with " 'ami" by the way when are you teaching her how to say mommy correctly?"
"Kyle, im sorry i overslept. And let her call me what ever she want , she'll learn eventually." I walked out of the elevator and towards the hotel valet parking to get my car. "I'll be there in 20 min, im not far away. Give her a kiss and tell her im sorry please" i gave my key to the valet guy and waited for him to bring back my car.
"You'll tell her your self, bye" she hang up. This girl.
25 min later i was knocking on Kyle's door.
The door open to reveal a brown curly haired woman with green eyes. Jessica.
"Hello Lilah.." we hug each other like we always do.
"Hi, jess. Haven't see you in weeks." I said looking pass her to an empty living room.
"I know, been busy. She's in the back room" i nodded and walked pass the living room towards the family room in the back of their apartment.
I stop in the door way and looked at my daughter who was in the floor in a weird position with her face cover by her arms and hair. I look by at jess and she shrugged. I walked silently to my daughter and squat down next to her.
"Hey honey" she lift her face up and sat up .
" 'ey ami" she said moving her hair out of her face. I grab some stray hair and put it behind her ear.
"Why are you in the floor?" I asked in a gentle tone. I felt bad.
" mi wattin' for you 'ami" i felt guilty. Here was my daughter waiting for me to come get her while i was in someone else bed. I was a bad mother.
