Nathanael didn't know why he asked his mother if it was okay to have Marinette over, to just hang out.
He didn't know why Marinette said yes.
He didn't know what led his mother to sharing his photos.
His photos.
He just smashed a pillow into his face, just wanting to disappear, anywhere in the world.
He just wanted the torment to end.
"Awww you were so cute!" Marinette gushed, bluebells eyes full of mirth. A picture of him, in fox pajamas when he was three years old in hand.

"Oh he was dear! Here is one when he was five and it was Halloween." His mother pulled out another photo, making him smother his face further into the pillow.

With a staff, fox ears and orange cloak, along with a set of black and white clothes, Nathanael looked absolutely adorable in Marinette's opinion. Especially with the wide innocent turquoise eyes.
'Mom, why do you hate me??' Nathanael cried inwardly, face burning in embarrassment.
"You were so adorable." His mother said loudly, directed at Nathanael.
Marinette just nodded in agreement, grinning widely.
"Oh, and when he was thirteen, he got into anime, or uh Japanese cartoons? Nathanael?"
He just nodded against the pillow. He felt like something was missing...
His mother flipped through the photo album until stopping at one photo.
...Oh no!
"Mom please don't show that picture!" Nathanael yelped, raising his burning face from the pillow.
Too late.
Marinette laid her eyes on a thirteen year old Nathanael, wearing a sailor boy outfit.

"You looked adorable Nath!" Marinette giggled, making him blush deeply.
His mother chuckled. "He pulled off the outfit so well I shared the photo with some of my friends."
"You did what?!" Nathanael shrieked, face full of horror.
"Oops! Ignore what I said! Anyway, this is when he was two and I just found the most cutest pajamas for him to wear." His mother pulled out another photo.
