Harry's POV

I hate hearing "It's not meant to be" left and right. I've never wanted someone so much in my enitre life, if I want her I am going to fight for her no matter what it takes. I know that if I could sit her down and just talk to her face to face I could turn her opinion around. I have a deep feeling that she does like me deep down, because that one night she kissed me, I was drunk she wasn't. Going away for 10 months doesn't help that I'm trying to win her over but I have to make it work.

"I love you, text me when you land okay?" I hear the same sweet loving voice. Liam nods in agreement.

"I will, take care of yourself little sis" His hand ruffled her perfectly groomed hair, I knew how much she hated that. All that was left was a tight embrace and he handed his ticket to board,a small wave shared in between. I stood right behind, waiting but staring obliviously.

"Kate can-" She turned her head before I could continue, I was used to seeing her put me down.

"Have a safe flight Harry" She licked her lips before crossing her arms and averting her eyes once more. I resisted the urge to kiss her face, hug her like she's mine, and never let her go for the life of me. It hurt seeing her like this, felt so responsible for something I technically didn't do alone, but everyone's looking at me like the bad guy, I was drunk.

"Goodbye Kate" I stare once more in her oceanic light eyes, lost in words. "I want you to know you're wonderful, and when you finally settle for that special guy I want him to know he's so lucky to have a girl like you"

"Harry-"

"I like you a lot, but that's not going to change things" I pause, still. Waiting for her to continue, but taking her speech straight from her mouth. "Have a great life Kate" I didn't bother with a hug it would seem awkward and pointless.

As I walk down the plane hall, I hear my name being called. I swiftly turn my head, my heart beating by the voice calling my name.

"I think you're pretty wonderful too" Easy going tone, soft voice. The corners of her mouth rise, eyes showing signs of happiness and saying "don't go" I couldn't help myself.

I realize the boys were way in front of me, almost boarded, but I didn't care. I gaze at her smile, dimples larger than ever. I drop everything in my hand, stupidly, with my passport and bags. I rush my walk closer to her, grabbing her face vigorously with my hands, tilting it up, I didn't forget her short height. I brush my lips against hers, skimming her soft lips. I assumed there was plenty of people looking and snapping pictures, including the boarding agent, but I couldn't care less.

"You're as wonderful as it gets babe" I cut her off with my lips heavily pressing against hers, taking in the moment. She pulls back, smile pasted on.

"Harry, you're going to be late for your flight" she hints a small chuckle.

Our foreheads still pressed together.

"I don't care, I would miss anything for this moment" My one hand slipping from her cheek.

"I'm serious. You have people and fans waiting for you on the other side" She forces my other hand off, her hands were so little compared to mine, I found it cute. "Niall- uhm the boys are going to be worried and suspicious" Her face weakens, tense almost. She was scared.

"Alright, I guess you're right. I'm call you later babe" I added a subtle wink to fill the untitled void.

"Have a great flight, wonderful" Kate winks as well, mocking me, which made me laugh vaguely
