Chapter 12: Lies and Bora Bora

Kailee and Kimberly stood in Toni's door way shocked that Kenneth was actually by her house they wanted answers and they wanted them now.

"Well Toni care to explain?" Kimberly asked letting herself in an Kailee followed her inside.

"Let me go put some clothes on first." Toni said seeing that she was naked under her night gown and Kenneth didn't have any clothes on besides his boxers. The two quickly went upstairs while the twins sat in her living room.

"I told you to stay upstairs Kenneth!" Toni scolded him as she put her clothes on and watched him put his clothes on.

"I know but you we're taking long." He said as Toni stopped dressing and looked at him in annoyance.

"Well now I have to explain why the fuck you're here and half naked at that." Toni exclaimed rolling her eyes as Kenneth pulled her close to him.

"Listen its going to be alright, we going to have to tell everybody soon whenever ready." He said causing Toni to scoff.

"No we're definitely not doing that, you must have lost your mind Ken. You know what? Just leave please." She said as he nodded his head and pecked her lips and put his shoes on.

Toni walked him downstairs to the front door and closed it behind her knowing the twins would be nosey if she left it open.

"I'll call you." He said to her giving her a hug as they took in each other's scent.

"I love you." He said with a goofy grin as Toni chuckled.

"Goodbye Ken." She said trying to walk away but he gently pulled her back by her wrist.

"You better say it back Toni. I'm not playing with you today." He demanded as she chuckled.

"I love you too Kenneth Brian Edmonds." She said pecking his lips and making sure he got in his car and drove off, she went inside the house and closed the door behind her letting out a heavy sigh.

"Y'all cute or whatever but that's your sister's husband." Kimberly said causing Toni to chuckle knowing they looked through the window to see her and Ken.

"I know its just a lot going on right now." Toni said letting out a sigh and running her fingers through her hair that was in need of a wash and a cut.

"Why don't we go to the spa and salon and then get some food and then we can talk." Toni offered as Kaile nodded but Kimberly shook her head, she should've known Kimberly was going to disagree.

"How about you tell us now and then we do all those things tomorrow." Kimberly suggested knowing Toni had to agree because it was late and the spa probably just closed.

"Fine, do you guys want something to drink?" Toni asked as Kailee just asked for a water and Kimberly took the flavoured water, they sat in Toni's living room as Toni nursed a shot of Hennessey she needed this especially for what she was about to tell them.

"Well where do I start?" Toni asked herself but of course Kailee wanted to be sarcastic.

"From the beginning of course." Kailee said as Toni chuckled.

"Ken and I met back in high school, typical high school love story he was the football star and I was the cheerleader with the perfect grades. We started dating but I didn't bring him home because dad would've flipped his lid if he found out I was dating and I told Ken that it wouldn't feel right to meet his family because he had yet to meet mine." Toni said telling them how she and Ken started their relationship.

"And then we started getting more serious and still we never bothered to meet each others parents. One day we went to our usual spot the beach, Ken would drive us there every after school, that same day we came back from the beach was the last day I saw him, he didn't bother saying goodbye for a long time all he said was bye like he would see me tomorrow at the graduation ceremony." Toni vented as the girls looked at her sympathetically and that's the reason why Kimberly didn't bother with relationships.

"We're sorry about that Toni, and we're sorry about you losing your baby." The twins said as Toni looked at them confused.

"We went through your pictures and there was an ultrasound with your name on and there was a picture with you standing with mom and dad with a big belly." Kailee explained as Toni didn't bother to correct them. She would let them think that until she was ready to tell them that she was their mother and Kenneth was their father she just hoped they took the news well for her sake.

A week later

Toni and her family were in Bora Bora for a well deserved vacation. After the twins found out about Toni an Kenneth they warned Toni that it would turn ugly and she promised they would stop because she wasn't about to ruin Towanda's marriage even though she had Kenneth first.

Traci, her son Jasper and her husband were in one room, the twins were in another and Bianca with Tamar. Trina and her husband were in one room and Towanda and Kenneth were in their own room and so we're Toni's parents while she was all alone in her own.

"What's first on the list?" Tamar asked as the family settled in and came to the main house where the parents and the twins and Tamar were staying to eat a quick snack.

"How about jet skiing?" Kailee suggested as everyone agreed. After everyone was done they went to the beach that was right in front of where they were staying as the tour guider helped them on the jet skis and told them how to use them.

"I'm not doing this, I just got my hair done before we came here and this is going to mess it up Kenny." Towanda complained as Kenneth rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Fine Towanda don't do it then." He simply said walking to the rest of the family as Towanda sat on one of the beach chairs and enjoyed the sun. Bianca was even participating in this fun activity, while Evelyn and Michael took a nap.

They had fun jet skiing and Towanda was jealous at how Kenneth and Toni kept giggling at each other, it was her loss since she didn't want to part take in the activity instead she wanted to act bougie and sit in the sun with glasses and a hat sipping on a martini.

"Guys go get cleaned up so we can eat late lunch." Toni told everyone as everyone went their separate ways to go get cleaned up. Kenneth tried to sneak away to shower with Toni but to no avail Towanda wanted attention but he simply told her he was tired and went to take a shower by himself.

"How has the first day been here?" Mrs Evelyn asked everybody as everyone started talking excited about how the first day went here. They had fun as a family.

"Thats good I'm glad y'all had fun." Mr Michael said as they continued to eat their late lunch. Soon everyone was tired and wanted to rest, they went their seprate ways and of course Towanda found a mall nearby and asked the driver to take her. That worked to Kenneths advantage because he went to Toni's room.

The two were so intrigued by each other that they didn't realise how time flew and soon Towanda made it back to the room she shared with Kenneth and he was no where to be found, she went to the main house but he wasn't there, she didn't know what made her do it but she walked all the way to Toni's room and pushed the door open only to find...
