Chapter 10: Nobody Loves You Like Me...

Kailee and Kimberly were laying in bed in their childhood room looking at the ceiling where they put pictures of all the family members.

"Kai?" Kimberly called out making sure Kailee was awake, something was heavily on her mind and she just couldn't stop thinking about it.

"Yeah?" Kailee answered turning towards her sister to look at her with her eyebrows furrowed in deep thought.

"You know Towanda's husband Kenneth? Why do we look so much like him? I mean we have his eyes and ears, overall we have Toni's features. Something about this isn't right." She confessed as Kailee now sat up right looking at her sister interested in what she was saying. These two were just nosey, at least if Kailee couldn't get anything she would stop snooping but Kimberly, she was like a detective on a mission to solve a murder case.

"So what are you saying? Mom and dad aren't our parent's?" Kailee asked as Kimberly sat up and looked at her biting her bottom lip.

"That could be the case, I know mom said because Toni is the first born its common for the last born to look like her, I mean both of us are the last born. I mean technically you're the last born because I'm older than you by seventeen minutes, and I look a bit like Toni and that man Kenneth its a bit strange if you ask me." Kimberly said, Kailee jumped off the bed and put her morning fuzzy slippers on as Kimberly did the same.

"Lets go snoop." Kailee said as she and Kimberly had smirks on their faces, it was four in the morning and the twins couldn't sleep and by the way the house sounded so quiet everybody else was probably fast asleep.

They quietly walked into Toni's old room that nobody used, they closed the door behind them and looked around the room.

"You check under the bed and on the night stands I'll check in the closet." Kimberly told Kailee as they began snooping around Toni's room.

They came across nothing until Kailee spotted a Brown box on the top of her closet looking like it was meant to be hidden away. She climbed to the top and grabbed the box, but with the help of Kimberly she got down.

They sat on Toni's bed and opened the box, flipping it over so everything could fall out of it. The first thing they came across was a sonogram and it looked like a baby in someone's stomach, it was obvious it was Toni's. Her name was on top of the sonogram.

"She had a baby." Kimberly whispered touching the sonagram with her fingers, they came across another picture of Toni standing in between their parents with a huge belly.

"And we keep bringing up how she needs to have children when she lost her baby. Now I feel bad." Kailee said looking at the picture of their sister, she looked so happy with her big belly and pregnancy suited her well.

The girls were tired and sad, but with what they saw that didn't stop them from looking at all the pictures in the box, the next picture was a big shock, both the girls gasped and looked at the picture wide eyed they couldn't believe it. Toni was standing next to Towanda's husband Kenneth and it looked like they just came from the beach. He was holding her by her waist and she kissed his cheek. The girls quickly put everything back besides the picture of Toni and Kenneth and the sonagram and put the box back. They had a lot of questions for Toni but they wouldn't be able to handle the answers.

Toni and Kenneth were at the office and just came out of the boardroom from a long and tiring meeting that was pointless to Toni.

"Toni can you please see me in my office." Mr Davenport demanded but made it sound like a question as Toni tolled her yes and made her way to his office.

"Yes Mr Davenport?" She asked as he walked into his office and took a seat on his chair behind his desk.

"I need you to accompany me to our annual 60th party." Mr Davenport said as Toni sat there uninterested.

"Mr Smith already asked me and we already have our colors picked out. I'm sorry Mr Davenport maybe another time." She said as he sighed, Toni would never go to an event with him. He was married he could take his wife, he always asked Toni to go with him and she always made up an excuse.

"It's okay Toni maybe I should bring my wife." He said as Toni rolled her eyes. He always thought Toni liked him, but that was no where near the case she only flirted with him to get her way an that was it. He thought by him saying that Toni would get jealous and change her mind but Toni only nodded her head and smiled.

"Is that all? I have work to catch up in." Toni said as Mr Davenport nodded his head disappointed and Toni walked out his office running into Kenneth. She let out a groan and tried to walk away from him but he pulled her with him into his office.

"What do you want Kenneth?" She asked him aggravated all she wanted to do was hide away in her office. Her mother was angry at her for not telling Kailee and Kimberly the truth at her party, and Toni was annoyed at Kennth for not showing up last night and not telling her that he couldn't come and she realised that he was married to her sister and his wife's needs would always come first to him.

"I want to apologise for not showing up last night, there were problems that needed to be solved." He said as Toni tried to hide the fact that she was heart broken.

"I don't want to hear about your problems you be with my sister. It's not my business, I just want to tell you that what we're doing we need to stop, you married my sister for a reason you can't have both of us. I'm sorry Kennth but she is still my sister after all and you're just somebody that I used to love." She said knowing that would hurt him. Saying that she didn't love him would break him and she knew his weakness, she was not only doing this for herself but for her sister and his marriage as well, she didn't want to be labelled as the homewrecker.

"Toni don't do this. You know you love me and I love you even more than you love me, so stop lying to yourself and me." Kenneth said pulling Toni by her waist into him.

"Kenneth stop! We can't do this!" She yelled trying to stop the tears from streaming down her face.

"You're inlove with my sister, you're married to her, you have a kid with her." Toni said stating the obvious as she just broke down crying. As much as she tried to act like she wasn't bothered or hurt by the situation it hurt her. If felt like she was being stabbed over and over again seeing him and Towanda and their daughter. That was suppose to be him and her with their kids.

"Toni you know I love you, I haven't stopped loving you and I can't stop loving you." He said pulling her close to him.

"Do you love me more than her?" Toni asked as Kenneth's heart stopped. "I love you more than my own life." He said and quickly pulled Toni close to him and kissed her passionately. One thing they forgot to do was lock his office door.

Halle barged in and they quickly jumped jumped apart. She stood there with a silly smirk on her face.

"What do we have here?"
