Hayley’s POV
I woke up with my body sprawled all over Mitch’s bed. I check my phone and the time reads 12:32 PM.
I get out of his bed. I'm still in my red and black dress from last night. I walk out in the living room, where Jerome and Mitch is sleeping on the floor and Mat is laying on the couch on his phone.
“Hey…” I say getting his attention.
“Hey!” He says standing up and stretching. “Some party last night huh?”
“Sure…I guess.”
He walked up to me, causing me to shift uncomfortably.
“Don’t act like you didn’t like what happened last night.”
I rolled my eyes and fold my arms. “That wasn’t acting, I actually didn’t like it at all.”
“You’re just confused on what you want silly girl.” He says putting his hands on my hips and trying to pull me towards him. I try to resist but he is stronger than me and pulls me close to his face.
“Think about it, Mitch betrayed you, and so did Jerome. Look around Hayley. I am the only true friend that didn’t and will never betray you. So why do you not love me?”
“Because I don’t. Mat just stop before you ruin your friendships with everyone, including me.”
“I want to be more than friends…Hayley.” He said pushing his forehead against mine and closes his eyes.
I couldn’t move, his hands were locked on me and pushing me forward.
I looked around, and see Mitch’s leg right near my foot. I move my leg slowly towards him.
“I-I don’t think that is gonna happen Mat.”
“Soon you will realize what a dick Mitch was to you, and you will want to be with me.”
I kick Mitch’s leg not too hard but hard enough for him to wake up and not so obvious that Mat would notice.
I look from the corner of my eye and see Mitch sit up and look at me and Mat.
“Help me” I mouth to him, but then my lips are cut off by Mat pushing his against mine, then his lips quickly released from mine once Mitch tackled Mat to the ground, knocking over furniture and waking Jerome up.
“What the fuck Mat!? I told you to NEVER KISS HER AGAIN! What the hell is wrong with you?!”
After more yelling and screaming, Jerome decided to take Mat home.
“What else did he do?” he asked.
“You pretty much saw everything he did.”
He sighed and hugged me. “I’m sorry, I just don’t want to lose you again.”
“You won’t. But, you kinda have to take me home...so you will lose me until tomorrow morning.”
He laughed. “Yeah I guess I do…unless I kidnap you.”
I jump up and wrap my legs around him and my arms around his neck and laugh.
“You can kidnap me if you want, but remember my dad is a cop and he is also our soccer coach.”
He laughed. “Yeah, I would be kind of screwed right?”
“You would probably be in jail, so yes. What time are your parents coming home?”
