Chapter 16 - Forever And Always

Hayley's POV

I hop into Mitch's car the next morning.

"What do you wanna do?"

"Record...just...one last time before I leave."

"Of course."

We drive to Mitch's empty house, his family was away for the weekend

We walked into his basement. He set up the recording and gave me a headset.

"Hey guys it's Mitch or TheBajanCanadian here with Hayley, yes she's back everyone!"

I choked. I didn't know what to say. Things ran through my head.

All I could do, was cry.

"Hayley." he said ending the recording and putting his headset down.

He pulled me into his arms. "Shh...it's okay baby. It's okay."

I couldn't stop crying. I knew that I wouldn't be back here for months.

Once I finally stopped. I sighed. "Sorry..."

"No don't be. Come on, we can do something else."

"No. I want to do this."

"Okay." he puts on his headset and starts the recording again.

"Hey guys it's Mitch or TheBajanCanadian here with Hayley, she's not dead!"

I cheer up and smile. "Yeah guys! We are here with some Call Of Duty."

"Yup, let's play!"

We record that for a bit. Then we switch over to Minecraft.

"So I'll buy you an account."

"Thanks." I said smiling as I typed in all the info.

We log on to Minecraft and into a new world.

"Alright, HayleyTheCherry? Really?"

"Yeah! Its my nickname!"

"Alright well let's play!"

We play that until it was around 6PM. We ordered pizza and joined in the bYd Podcast they were doing.

"So guys, Hayley is leaving for college tomorrow and won't be back for a while." Mitch says sadly.

The chat explodes with people saying to not leave and how they would miss me.

"I know guys, but I need an education."

We finished up the live stream and turned off the computer.

"So you're leaving in a few hours."

"Yeah...I'm gonna miss this place. I'm going to especially miss you."

He cups his hand on my face and pulls me in for a kiss.

And had a much better time than we did that Homecoming night (:3)

Hayley's POV

Mitch wakes me up the next day in his room.

"Do we have to get up?"

"Not right now I guess."

"Cuddle with me."

He laughs as his skin touches mine, sending shivers down my spine.

After 10 minutes of us cuddling, we get up and take showers.

After getting ready, we sit in his car as he drives me over to Kayla's. I say goodbye to them and Mitch drives me back to my house.

My dad glares at Mitch but I ignore it. He hates Mitch ever since last year when I lied to him for New Years.

My dad and mom hoped in the car with all my stuff in it. I say goodbye to Peter and my aunt Lillian, who is watching over Peter while my parents drive me to California.

They walk back inside as I stand in front of him.

"I have a little going away present for you."

"You didn't have to."

He pulls out a box

I opened the box and revealed another locket.

"Another locket?"

"Yeah, and this." He pulls out a ring.

"What's that?"

"A promise ring, meaning that I promise to always love you and always be by you even if we are miles apart..." his voice trailed off, and I looked into his eyes, and he was crying.

Seeing him cry made me break. I began to cry as well.

He slipped the ring on me, and put the locket around my neck, where he took off the other locket.

I looked at him with questioning eyes. Why did he take off the other locket?

He opened it and put something into it, then put it around his neck, and my dad honks his horn, indicating that it was time to leave.

"I love you."

"I love you more."

He smiles and kisses me. I kiss him back and let go.

I step into the backseat of the car, and my dad drives off.

I turn in my seat and look through the back window.

I wave my hand as he does to. He points to his eye, then his heart, and then to me. I smile as I do the same in return. My dad begins to drive away and I watch Mitch fade away right before my eyes.

I silently began to cry. My mom turns in her seat.

"It will be okay Hayley."

Mitch's POV

And there she went, she was gone.

I texted her as soon as the car faded.

I drove to Jerome's house and hung out with him.

"So she's gone?"

"Yeah man...she's gone."

"I'm sorry biggums. I know how much you loved her."

"Loved? I love her. Just because she is 3000 miles away doesn't mean that she will never stop loving me."

"Okay, okay."

My phone vibrated indicating Hayley texted back.

Hayley's POV

I fell asleep and woke up to my phone vibrating.

From: <3

"Open the locket."

I grabbed the locket hanging from my neck and opened it. It was a picture of me and him sleeping in each other's arms, and him kissing my forehead as he took the picture. The sunlight made us glow, and his beautiful eyes glisten.

There was also a note in the locket. I open the note.

"I love you, forever and always"

I smile at the note and put it back into the locket and close it. I text him back

"Forever and always<3"

Besides that it's almost 2am, and I need sleep
