Chapter 4 - Stay The Night

Hayley's POV

I woke up and texted Mitch to come pick me up. Once he pulled his car up, I snuck out of the house.

"Hey!" I said as I was getting into his car.

"Hey." he responded.

"I am so sorry for my dad last night."

"Trust me it's fine. He is just being protective of his daughter. But I think I'll have to run extra laps for soccer coming up."

I laughed. "So where are we going?"

"Since you have been recording a lot with Mat (NoochM) and I, I thought you would want to record some more and maybe do some bowling with Mat, Jerome and I."

"Sure!" I said as we pulled up to the Mitch's house.

"Is anyone home?" I ask

"Both my parents are away on vacation till tomorrow,  Kyleigh is over a friends for the weekend and Connor is over your house for the weekend as well."

"Oh, I didn't see him."

We walked in the living room to see Mat sitting on the couch.

"Hey!" I said greeting him. "Hey!" he said back. "You ready for some Call Of Duty?"

"Hell yeah!" I said grabbing the controller.

"How about you start the intro?"

"Alright. Hey guys its Hayley here with Mat or NoochM and Mitch or BajanCanadian with Team Deathmatch on Black Ops 2. LES DO DIS!"

We played for a little while until Jerome showed up at the house.

He saw me and glanced at Mitch with the "whyisshehere?" look.

"Hey Jerome."

"Hi..."

"I'm not pissed at you Jerome. Trust me, I won't bite."

He smirked and I walked outside into Mitch's car while Jerome went into Mat's car and drove to the bowling alley.

We got our lane, shoes and bowling balls and began to bowl.

The first frame I hit none of the pins since the ball went in the gutter. The boys did hit pins.

"I cannot throw the ball down the alley and hit a damn pin to save my life."

"Here, let me show you." Mitch said and walked up to the alley.

"Okay, well first things first, you are shifting your weight to you left side." he rested his hands on my hips and moved them towards the right.

"Okay now follow my arm." He placed his arm around mine and led me to throw the ball down the alley.

Strike!

"Yeah!" I cheered then hugging Mitch.

I pulled away and kissed him. I kinda forgot Mat and Jerome were there.

I quickly pulled away and looked at them. They looked shocked. We walked back towards them.

"So..." Jerome said awkwardly

"Are you guys...a thing?" Mat asked.

"Not really, just a romantic interest at the moment."

"Ooh. Well good for you guys! Let's bowl!"

Mitch ended up winning all the games we played, and I was last besides one game where I beat Jerome.

After that we drove back to Mitch's house and chilled there until Mat and Jerome had to leave.

"Come on Hayley. Lets get you home."

"I don't want to get up...or deal with your brother and mineee"

"I can see that being an issue, well do you wanna stay the night?"

"Yeah!" I texted my mom and told her I'm spending the night at a..."friend's" place. She replied with a quick "okay"

"Do you mind if I take a shower?" I ask.

"Go ahead. Bathroom is at the end of the hallway."

"Thanks." I got up and walked into the bathroom. I turned the nozzles and quickly undressed and hopped into the shower.

After the shower, I wrapped the towel around my body and walked into Mitch's room. I quietly opened his drawers and pulled out his pajama pants and a t-shirt and slipped them on.

I walked back into the living room and sat down by Mitch.

"Nice outfit. I wonder who's it is." I punched him in the arm and laughed.

I cuddled up against him.

I must have fallen asleep on him because I wake from the movement of my body shifting and Mitch is carrying me bridal style towards his room and laying me down in his bed.

"Mitch...where will you sleep?"

"On the couch I guess."

"No, sleep with me."

"If you say so."

He got into his bed with me and I snuggled on him, and our arms locked on each other.

"I'm glad I have you back"

"Me too." I say and smile as he kisses my head and fall asleep.
