Chapter 11 (Back to Madelyn's P.O.V)

I woke up with a heavy hangover and a major headache. I got home this morning at 5 am, sneaking in the door before my mom could see me.

No, I didn't drive home drunk. I got a ride with some guy at the party.

I got out of bed and groaned. Why didn't I stop after that 5 cup of punch? I walked down the stairs and grabbed an ice pack from the freezer. My mom sat at the counter, looking at the laptop in front of her grimly.

"Morning mom." I said, as quietly as I could, trying not to make my head feel worse.

"Good Morning Madelyn." she said in a cold tone.

"Whats going on?" I asked.

"Were you at a party last night?" My mom asked, looking at me dead in the eye.

"Yes, and you knew I was."

"Was there any drinks being served at this party?"

"Yes, punch, but there was no alchohol in it." I lied carefully.

"Then why the hell is Sophia's mother tagging me in these photos Sophia posted last night, that have you dancing on a table without a shirt?"

I gulped. "Photoshop?"

"Answer me for real Madelyn!" She yelled.

"Fine mom. The punch was spiked, and I didn't know." There, that's better. It's only a partial lie.

"You would of known the punch was spiked when you first drank it. Don't play stupid with me Madelyn, I was a teenager once too."

"You were? You don't seem like the teenager type."

She rolled her eyes. "Don't change the subject Madelyn. I'm still mad at you for getting drunk underage. Doing it now, what are you going to do with booze at age 21?"

"Mommy, I won't do it again. I promise."

She put her arm on my shoulder. "I know, because your grounded for the next week, and you have to do extra chores around the house."

"Mom." I groaned.

"I can make it a month."

"Week's fine! I'm going upstairs, by mom!"

"Tylinol is on the top shelf of the medicene cabinet in the bathroom!" she called up the stairs.

After taking tylinol and having my headache calm down, I logged onto Instagram and saw in my notifications that there were 30 comments on my photos or people mentioning my name.

I clicked on one video that Sophia had posted and tagged me in.

I hit play in the top right corner, and it started.

It was a video of me (Topless) dancing on the table.

But Sophia had photoshoped it so it looked like I wasn't wearing a bra or anything.

I scrolled down and read the comments, and the caption:

sophia_luvs_you: Lol what a skank. sarahhhhhhhx: bitch must of wanted to get some. _summertimesadness_: Fucking whore probably has an STD. xxmirandaxx: @madelynbrown U A STUPID HOE. cassi_1000: Madelyn is a slut.

I quit reading the comments when I felt the tears in my eyes. I wiped them away and put my iPhone down.

I logged onto Facebook and saw that I had 20 messages, and 100 nofifications I wasn't going to read or see.

I dialed Dylan's number.

"Hello?" Dylan answered.

"Sophia posted a video and photos of me." I said crying my eyes out.

"Oh honey, I'll be over in a minute."

"Hurry up. And people are calling me a slut and a hoe."

She snorted. "They're skanks."

~*~

After begging my mom to let Dylan spend the night at our house until Monday, and just move my grounding to a later date, she caved when I offered to do the laundry for an extra week.

I folded my old high school sweatshirt as Dylan scrolled through her Instagram news feed.

"Sophia's the real skank. What a bitch." Dylan said.

I dropped my sweater in the basket and sighed. "That's why we need to plan our next movement of revenge."

Dylan tapped her chin looking thoughtful. "No 3rd grade attempts at revenge though. We're going to Senior prank revenge."

"Ooooo, Dylan's getting feisty."

She shoved my shoulder. "Shut up." Dylan stood up and started pacing back and forth. "So we need to find something she loves, that would cause a weakness in her."

She looked at me expectingly, as if I knew everything about her.

"You were her friend. What do you think we should do?"

Dylan looked up with shock. "She left her diary at my house one time, and its still there. I can go get it?"

"Yes! Go get it! Ill come with you!"

"What about your mom?"

"I'll make some lane-ass excuse on why we need to go. Les roll!"

~*~

20 minutes later, we're back on my bed with the diary. Nothing really happened on the way there except for Sophia glaring at us out the window.

"How long ago where these written?"

She flipped through the book until she found the one she was looking for:

October 8th, 2013

Dear diary:

Last night, I had to get his ugly night brace for my teeth. It goes all over my mouth and it makes my teeth look black. I still haven't told Dylan, Melody, or Kayla about it.

I wouldn't be caught dead wearing it anywhere. It's so ugly!

And a week ago, I got extensions put in, but 3 days ago, I got lice and had to take them out. I have a huge bald spot in the middle of my head! Luckily, my other hair covers it up.

Pray that all of this is the only bad luck I have.

Your friend, Sophia.

~*~

"She wrote YOUR FRIEND, SOPHIA at the end! Omg! What a five year old!"

Dylan and I laughed our asses off at the loser she really is.

"Omg, this is Hilarious. We gotta tell everyone this."

I smiled wickedly. "Let's rock this bitch."
