Chapter 13
I'm running.
Running from my mom, who's holding a copy of my report card, my science teacher, throwing rocks at me, and my biggest nightmare.
Sophia.
I suddenly stop. I can't keep running, and everyone behind me stops.
My mother and science teacher stay back, but Sophia stands in front of them, wearing a sinister grin.
She's holding up Dylan. She's standing next to her, crying.
"Thought your little plan of making me look like an idiot would work? Think again bitch." She said in a cold tone that could freeze a fire.
I tried to scream for help. For anyone really. But my voice was cut off, like a fist was holding it.
"It's worthless trying, whore."
She dropped Dylan to the ground, and she sputtered for air.
I kept trying to scream, but I couldn't.
Eventually I-
I woke up from sleeping with a jolt.
It's 7:00 AM, and I'm probably gonna be late for school.
Not that I care.
My mom burst into my room and started yelling. "Madelyn Jane, get yourself downstairs and out the door!"
"What's the point of even going? Everyone's going to laugh or make fun of me in some way!"
"What?"
She walked into my room.
Fuck. She never found out about everything.
"Mom, I'm getting a C in science, everyone knows about dad, and everyone knows that I got drink at that stupid party."
"Maddie, it's alright. And can you fix this grade?"
I nodded. "I can try, I guess."
"And is this about Sophia again?"
I nodded, but now I felt like tears were going to come out.
"Alright, I'm not taking this any longer. The party, the twitter fights, and that boy. Lets to school."

Kids stared at me and my mom as we walked down the hallway, her in front of me.
My mom might not be the tallest person on the planet, but she can be pretty darn scary when she wants to.
My mother pounded on the principals door, and he opened it and barged right in before he could say anything.
"I need to talk to you about what has been going on with my daughter and Sophia."
"Situation being taken care of. They're doing a fundraiser together soon-
"No, It's not. You will kick that girl out."
"Well, we could, but if we were to kick her out, we would have to kick your daughter out too, because, well, she's done some bad things too."
"Well then do it! Madelyn has been doing horrible ever since everything that has happened!"
