Road Trip, UNO, And...One Direction?

Melissa

I woke in the morning feeling groggy and annoyed from the loud voices coming from the front of the bus.

"You know just don't get why you can't just ask her out already! You know damn well that you like her and lord knows if you are or ever will be in love with her."

"That's the thing, Jessie. I don't know what will happen if I did actually ask her out. Will she say no? Will she say yes? Will she shout in my face and demand that I never talk to her again? You know how she can be."

"Well I say y'all just stop bickering about it. It's to damn early for y'all to be like this. For God's sake it's not even nine in the morning, I haven't even had breakfast yet! Can we just get some food and discuss this another time. Another time when it isn't so damn early?" I couldn't help but giggle at Sasha's outburst. Of course she\'s more worried about food. But that's why we love her.

I decided that it was time for me to stop eavesdropping and get ready for my day. I got up out if bed and went to the bathroom where I found my toiletry bag already sitting on the toilet with my cloths underneath. Who did this?

I shrugged it off and started brushing my teeth. After that, I jumped in the shower, washing my hair with my favorite vanilla shampoo and my body with my lavender body wash. when I finished, I shut off the water and dried myself off. I grabbed the white tank top and blue shorts off the edge of he sink and slipped on my undies and bra, along with my cloths. I grabbed my make-up bag and put on two coats of mascara, some shimmery eye shadow and pink lip gloss. Upon finishing my make-up, I took one more glance in the mirror and winked at my reflection. Chuckling a little, I walked out the bathroom to see Andy standing there with just his cargo shorts on...and no shirt. He didn't seem to notice me for his back was to me. I took a deep breath and walked over to my suitcase in the corner of the room to put my things away.

"Good morning," I said. Really, Melissa? Is that the best you could give? Andy jumped at the sound of my voice and turned to me.

"Oh hey! Good morning, sunshine. How did you sleep?" He asked politely. I looked away from my suitcase and at him.

"Well enough. How about you? Did you sleep at all?" He laughed.

"What is that beastly thing you speak of?" I laughed with him and shook my head.

"You need your sleep, Mister. If you pass out on us today, don't expect me to not say 'I told you so,'" I said. He shook his head and gave a soft chuckle.

"Yes, Mom." I stood up and walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his torso.

"Thank you for last night." He tightly wrapped his muscular arms around me.

"I didn't do anything worth a thanks. I was just being your best friend and comforting you." I stood silent for a moment.

"I didn't say anything in my sleep again, did I?" He didn't reply. I pulled away and looked up at him.

"Andy?" He sighed and looked away from me.

"You kept talking about Michael." I flinched. More of my dream started coming back to me as I remembered the hideous man.

"What exactly did I say?" Andy looked down at me and pulled me to sit down on the nearest bed.

"You started to talk about that night... you were tossing and turning. It's like you could get away from that nightmare. Melissa, please talk to me. I want to help." I stood up and moved away from him.
