Paradise
Pep Talks, Flat Tires, And... JUSTIN BIEBER?!
Melissa
"Ryan?" There was silence for a moment.
"Melissa," he whispered.
"Is everything okay?"
"No...I just don't know what to do anymore, Mel. I'm just lost. Like I can't find my way to happiness and can't seem to do anything right. I need you back here." I sighed. Here we go.
"Ryan, don't think like that. Thing maybe not be going to right way now but they will soon enough." He chuckled humorlessly.
"But see, when I come back home from school every so often, I'm demanded to do things by my dad...and it seems that he's not happy with what I give him. It feels like I never left home, you know?"
"Yeah, I get exactly what you mean." There was a pause.
"I miss you, Melissa. I really do?" I scoffed.
"Oh please."
"No, I'm serious. I miss everything about you. I miss how warm you always are when I hug you. I miss your gentle smile and happy laughter...I wish things were as easy as they were back when we first met." I sighed in sadness.
"You know things will never be the same. But I know one thing hasn't changed and that's how much I care about you. You know I'm here for you and I'm not going anywhere."
"There are those time when I feel you're going to leave again." I cringed at the thought. I hated affecting people like this.
"Ryan, you know why I had to go. But I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere." He laughed lowly.
"Sounds good to my ears. Skype me later?"
"Yeah. See you later!"
"See you, hun."

Its was later that night and everyone was lounging around the living area of the bus watching The Conjuring. Jessie and Gordon were cuddling together on the sofa. Lexi, Sasha, and Carlos were sitting in from of the sofa on the floor with Oreos in hand. Isabel was not too far from them, snuggling with her giant teddy bear. Andy and I were across from Jessie and Gordon on the other sofa snuggled together. His arms wrapped around me was a hid my face in his chest at a scary part of the movie. I breathed in the faint but soft scent of his cologne.
After a few moments, I looked at my phone to see a text message from Ryan.
From: Ryan
Hey, can't do Skype tonight. Caught in some family reunion shit. I'll call you tomorrow and make it up to you. Goodnight, hun :)
I sighed. I was actually kind of excited for this. I shook off the disappointed feeling and stood up from my place of the sofa.
"I'm gonna head to bed you guys. Feeling a little tired." Carlos groaned.
"Melissa, the movie is just getting started!" I rolled my eyes.
"The movie started forty-five minutes ago. It's okay, I can live without seeing some random people get possessed on screen like this. Plus you know this stuff gives me the creeps." Isabel threw an Oreos at me and it landed down my shirt.
"Party pooper," she said before resuming back to the movie. I laughed and turned to the back of the beds.
"Wait! No goodnight kiss for me?" Andy said from his spot on the couch. I sighed and walked over to him, pecking his cheek. Jessie seemed to be dying behind me. Literally sounding like she was dying by how deadly her coughs sounded. I turned to look at her and she smirked at me.
