Again and again, in my head it repeats
The sounds of both victories and defeats.
When I hear it stop, it just starts again
Always present, the chime of a bell
Like a persisting, nonidentifiable smell
Rings and rings, of my thoughts the refrain.
Maybe it is coherent, and there is a meaning
That I cannot find yet, and it leaves me starving.
Maybe this is a score, whose the composer
Is either me, or some unknown writer.
