Chapter Nineteen: Surprises

Lillian's POV

"Hey Ash it's been a while! Congrats on winning the the Alola League!"

I said while giving him a high five.

"Thanks! So how's your job as champion?"

Asked Ash.

"Pretty slow actaully no one has challenged me yet."

I said.

"You'll get challengers eventually."

Said Ash.

"So how are you and Serena?"

I asked causing Ash to blush.

"We're doing great. We're going on a date to Cilan's resteraunt."

Said Ash.

"Calem and I are too why don't we make it a double date."

I said.

"Okay!"

Said Ash.

I heard Aracel, Guzma, Thania, Cynthia, and Calem walk into the house and she set the presents down on the counter with the others.

I knew about Cynthia because Aracel called me before they got here to give me a heads up.

Cynthia looked a little rougher than from when I last saw her and her hair was much shorter and now reached to her chin unevenly.

Her clothes looked a little big in her and her black sneakers had holes in them.

"Hey guys!"

I said while waving at them.

Calem ran up to me and gave me a hug.

"I've missed you so much."

Said Calem.

"Yeah me too it feels like it's been more than a week!"

I said while kissing him on the cheek.

"Yeah it definitely felt like the week dragged on."

I said.

"Hey guys VG and Kanaii got the lights to work!"

Said Rj.

"Okay it's time for you all to be amazed!"

Said Rj hitting the button on the switch.

All the lights imidiently turned on around us.

"That's awesome!"

I said.

"Did you guys ever fix the cake?"

Asked Dawn.

"Well you see about that... I um..."

"Gold bought baking soda instead of flour so the Chocolate cake turned into brownies!"

Said Paul cutting Gold off.

"Why does this not surprise me?!"

Asked Mina while rolling her eyes.

"Hey guys what are we going to do about Lusamine are we going to have her standing here when Gladion walks in or should we have her come out later?"

Asked Hayden.

"I didn't think about that..."

Said Uncle Garret.

"We could wait and then have her come out when we're opening gifts."
