Lillian's POV
The next day was very busy. Everyone was in and out of the mansion. Mina, Thania, Iona, Misty, Dawn and Aracel went dress shopping.

Gladion, Lusamine, Cynthia, and Lillie went to pick up their mother Lucile from the hospital today and Garret drove them there.

I already had a dress that Hydra ordered for me as a thank you for helping them despite all the family drama. The guys were out doing Arceus knows what and everyone had left the mansion except for Lucas and I. Glanced over at Lucas and smiled.

"You know we haven't talked in a while."

I said.

"Yeah I know it's been a while with just us talking."

Said Lucas while smiling.

"So how's training with Dewott?"

I asked.

"It's going great you know I really want to beat Iris one day and become Unova's new champion but we're nowhere near ready..."

Said Lucas scratching his head.

"Well it takes time and practice."

I said.

"But it's easy for you..."

"Actually it really wasn't... Especially with my dad against me all the time telling me how much of big disappointment I am."

I said

"You're not alone on that one... My mom abandoned me just because I wasn't good enough..."

Lucas's eyes slightly glistened... I'be seen those grey blue eyes before but where have I seen them?! It's killing me he looks so much like someone I know but I can't put my finger on it!

"You know at one point my mom actually used to care about me but then my dad just walked out on us and as it turns out he lived someone else and just left. My mom fell into deppression and since then things just weren't the same. She started being verbally abusive... She never hit me though but her words hurt me... I was never good enough... I blame my dad for ruining our family. I hate him..."

Said Lucas under his breath.

"Lucas this is clearly a sore topic so let's change the subject how did you and Lillie meet?"

I asked.

"I met her in Alola when I ran way there as a kid because I couldn't take my mother's verbal abuse anymore, I was seven years old at the time. Gladion and I became pretty close and I knew Lusamine a little bit but not much she was very nice though but mostly played with the Pokemon at the paradise. Lillie, Gladion, and I would play together for hours. ThenIona came along. She was having problems at home and we invited her in our group. She would go off alone with Lusamine, and Gladion and they would play. Sometimes we would all play tag out in the backyard together however around the time I turned mine things just changed... Lucile was in a coma and Colress was there... He made me uncomfortable so I left. I saw plane tickets to Alola in Colress's lab so I stole them and left for Unova. Then I stayed there for a while. When I turned ten I got my partner and started training and here we are now."
