time was not on tyler's side.
life was not on tyler's side.
josh knew there was something wrong with tyler,
he just didn't ask,
because he didn't want tyler to talk about it.
josh thought tyler, would talk once he's ready.
tyler was never going to be ready.
he didn't want people to know he was dying.
he wanted to live life to the fullest.
tyler just wanted josh to hold onto him,
he was scared,
no matter how many days have gone by,
he still gets scared.
scared because he knows when he's going to die.
he thought,
jesus was the only one who can determine death,
but his body also decided when it was time,
there was nothing medication could do for him,
tyler was going to die,
there was nothing he could do,
or if he told josh,
josh wasn't going to help,
if doctors couldn't help,
then how in the world would josh help?
he couldn't.
that's why tyler didn't want to tell josh,
because then both would end up with broken hearts.
he tried to forget about his death so many times.
he tried to pick right back up to where he was,
before he was told he was going to die.
but he couldn't.
he just need an escape from reality.
he needs it deeply.
he wants to forget that at age 28 he's going to die.
he wants to do so many things with josh.
he wants his mind else where.
'lets get each other names tattooed.'
tyler spoke aloud,
scaring josh,
because he hadn't talked for quite some time.
'only if you wanna have my name till death.'
josh spoke with a smile.
so that's what the boys did,
they went live so their fans would be able to see.
they called up their friend who had tattoo tools.
both wore huge grins.
they were very excited,
that they were going to get a tattoo,
that tattoo would be there for the rest of their lives.
they had other tattoos but for some reason,
this one felt very special.
they got to do it themselves.
josh and tyler couldn't stop smiling.
it was a happy moment!
once they were finished they were very happy.
everyone would see the names,
they wanted everyone to see the names.
'i can show you off even when your not around.'
josh spoke with a smile,
tyler smiled back,
even though he was dying.
josh always made him feel,
like things were going to be okay.
even if they weren't going to be okay.
