 1 year later.

3rd grade is a big deal in some people’s life. AJ was beyond nervous this year because he didn’t share the same class with Gav. Last year was probably the best thing that has ever happened to AJ, Gav was his best friend and they always did everything together, even to the point where AJ nicknamed Gavin, Gavy.  AJ still got those weird feelings in his stomach every time he looked at Gav and the same went for Gavin. Gav even came over sometimes, which he was supposed to this Friday and would be staying over till Sunday. Their parents arranged that to happen the last week of summer. AJ was super excited.

Kimmie felt the same because Huy was supposed to come over as well, not to spend the night of course, but Huy would be spending dinner with them. Annabelle would be going to a friend’s house, Corra, to have a slumber party. Everybody was over the hills with excitement, which made all three adults in the house happy to see their children bouncing up and down with happiness. Even though it did kind of scare them when they got to riled up.

Friday night came by very quickly to the adults, but to the children it came by slowly. When the final bell of the day rang they all gathered there things quickly and left the classroom. The first two to meet were Kimmie and Huy seeing how they were in the same classroom; the next two were AJ and Gavin who quickly hugged. Annabelle was already at the front of the school waiting for Wes to pick her up. No matter where they were at the moment they were all excited.

Kimmie and Huy met up with Gavin and AJ and they all waited patiently for Blaine to show up. After a grueling 3 minutes out in the Seattle cold Blaine finally pulled up and they all clambered in. Blaine smiled at the lot of them. “So are you guys excited for the night?” They all looked at him and bashfully nodded their heads. “Good because knowing your Daddy Kurt this will be very delightful.” They all smiled and chatted about the night’s activities.

At the school Annabelle sat on the bench patiently waiting for her Papa to come pick her up. Annabelle was listening to her iPod and didn’t seem to notice when a girl came and sat by her until this said girl poked her on the shoulder. Annabelle looked surprised at the girl wondering where this girl came from. Annabelle doesn’t even remember her going to this school. ‘Wondering where she comes from?’ Annabelle thought curiously.

This girl who’s skin was almost like a beautiful caramel color. Her eyes are a surprising purple. Her hair is a creamy brown. She wore this very elegant floral dress that made her seem almost older than what she appeared. This girl just looked forward like the nonexistent clouds were interesting. Annabelle was brought back to life by her father’s car horn.

Annabelle a little confused as to what this other was doing, hesitantly picked up her messenger bag and quickly strode towards her father’s back seat. Once inside Wes looked at her with a glint of panic. “Hey princess, are you okay? You looked a little freaked out by the girl on the bench.”

“Yeah just don’t start worrying because if you start worrying.”

“You DON’T worry; it’s a one way street girl.” Wes defended.

“Dang it, you got me!” Annabelle said with sarcasm.

Wes laughed loudly and continued on driving. This was going to be long night. When they returned home they both got ready for the night. Wes putting on his formal, but casual outfit that consisted of a button up with tie, navy skinny jeans, and nickel colored high tops. If he was going to meet the parents of Corra De’Marzill he was going to have to look somewhat presentable.

Annabelle was putting on her favorite Power Puff Girl pajamas. What could she say she loved the retro style. When they were both ready they left the house leaving the other occupants to enjoy their night.
