Chapter 17- A Mistake Can Be a Blessing

Second thing on my agenda is to thank all of you guys, my readers and viewers, because without all of you I would never have been able to continue this story on or get such great responses and reviews from the FF community. Disclaimer: So I still own nothing of the Glee franchise, which is kind of saddening and disappointing. Oh well things might change in the future, but very unlikely.

3 years later.

She sat there on the cold floor of her tiled bathroom. She is only 17 this should not be happening to her. Kimmie doesn’t understand they were always safe, always. Only done it 4 times, why is this happening to her. The pink plus was just, so daunting, reminding her of the thing that she had done.

Kimmie sat there crying with the pregnancy test stick firm in her hand. She would have to tell Huy first, then her fathers, but she was so scared. What would her father’s say? What would her boyfriend say? What would her peers say? ‘Only bad things I’m sure.’ Kimmie thought bitterly.

There was a small knock on the door. Kimmie looked up to be only greeted by AJ’s beautiful face. “Hey Kimmie I was just wondering what was taking you so long I was just hopping into the-“AJ didn’t get to even finish the sentence before he had a sobbing Kimmie in his arms. Nothing made sense to him, why would she be crying, when everything in their lives were going perfect?

The most unexpected thing comes out of Kimmie’s mouth making AJ freeze in his spot. I’m pregnant. Those two words made completely different emotions flow through AJ making him feel slightly nauseous.

“Please don’t tell dads yet.” Kimmie sobbingly begged.

“Never this is your secret to tell not mine.” AJ comforted soothingly.

Kimmie hugged him putting her head into the crook of his neck which was very easy seeing how she was 2 inches taller than him, so far. AJ quickly left opting to use the other bathroom instead. Kimmie gathered the box and pregnancy stick and quickly stuffed them under her bed.

The following morning with Kimmie up and ready to go much earlier than she is usually, making Kimmie freak out silently, but kept it together. Kurt and Blaine didn’t seem to notice her discomfort which was a sigh of relief for Kimmie. She left the house promptly at a quarter to 7 which would allow her to arrive at school at 7:15 which would give her enough time to tell Huy, so they could go to the doctor after school.

When Kimmie got to school she felt suddenly self-conscious. Everything seemed like a blur and nothing was going good in her life at the moment. When she saw Huy entering the bio chemistry lab, she suddenly flung herself his direction and sobbed quietly into his shoulder.

Huy just stood there confused and wrapped his arms around her petite waste and pulled her close.

“I’m pregnant.” Kimmie whispered. Kimmie could hear the faint gasp that came from Huy and she held tighter. After what seemed like an eternity, but was actually 3 minutes, Huy finally spoke, “I’m kind of glad actually.  I think our children would be super smart and super beautiful.” Huy said with a goofy grin on his face.

“Please tell me you did not just reference The Big Bang Theory, while I’m pregnant.” Kimmie said with a both a scowl and happiness plastered onto her face.

“I did indeed.” Huy said looking down into Kimmie’s eyes.

“Huy, what would I do without you?”

“Burn and crash, I’ve already tested the algorithm.” Jokingly Huy said.

Kimmie glared at him and lightly hit him in his chest. It didn’t hurt Huy he just laughed at her and pulled her in for a kiss. They stood in the science hallway, kissing each other with so much love that it radiated off of the walls. They soon broke off of each other when a nearby science teacher squealed at them, “NO PDA!” They were left blushing and embarrassed, that a teacher that they both respected, because she saw them kissing in the hallway.

 Awkward.  Kimmie thought weirdly.

 They quickly kissed goodbye for the day and went their separate ways to their different science classes.

Kimmie entered her classroom feeling way better about how this day would turn out. Kimmie sat by her Science partner, Abi, and they quickly got to work on their science project that was due next week.

After classes were over for the day the next scariest part of her day was to come, telling Kurt and Blaine she was pregnant. They seemed like they would take it well, but there was always that off chance they wouldn’t.

Kimmie drove home and quickly parked in the driveway. Tonight Annabelle was going out with friends and Wes had a date with Levi. So tonight would be the perfect night to tell her family she was pregnant.

When dinner time rolled around Kimmie was beyond scared, but she was ready. They sat down with Kurt’s cooking. During mid-meal Kimmie spoke up, “I have something I need to tell you guys. AJ you already know, but this is very important.”

“What is it honey?” Blaine said concerned.

“Umm…” Suddenly she was choked up with fear.

“Spit it out already.” AJ said quickly.

“What is he talking about Kimmie?” Kurt asked confused.

Kimmie breathed in and out slowly then finally spoke, “I’m pregnant.”

Kurt gasped out loudly and Blaine just stared at her blankly, then suddenly Blaine flipped his plate and hit his glass which hit the wall beside him. Kimmie involuntarily flinched. “Where the HELL is that piece of shit boy because I’m going to cut his dick off and feed it to the birds! How dare he touch my little girl! And you are having sex, oh my god! Why are you having sex at such a young age?”

“Blaine you know we were at her age.” Kurt filled in.

“I so don’t want to hear about that.” AJ stated loudly.

“Sorry son.”

“Thanks, I may be a junior in High School, but I am still 15 and am not having sex yet.”

“And that is how it’s supposed to be.” Blaine filled in. Blaine looked back at Kimmie, “So your pregnant?”

“Yes dad.”

Blaine just sighed and sat down. “I’m going to hurt that boy the next time I see him. I’ll start making him leave the door open like Grandpa Burt did for me and Papa.” Blaine said with a slight threat in his voice.

“Okay dad.”

That night they stayed in and watched a few movies together and slowly processed it. Blaine was upset and angry; Kurt was weirdly excited, AJ was supportive and didn’t talk about it much because he wasn’t trying to overwhelm Kimmie. At around midnight they all went to bed, finally bringing the night to a close.
