I awoke to the smell of flowers. I could smell the wet earth beneath me and for a while;i thought that I was dreaming. Then I got a  rather unsettling revelation: I  was warm and surprisingly dry. Thereafter I heard the sound of birds chirping. Then I immediately calmed down. All feelings of uncertainty and confusion subsided at an instant.

"Am I in heaven?" I said to myself  with my eyes still partly closed.

I got up and I noticed that I was wearing a white, long cotton dress. I have to say that it actually looked good on me;yet I had so many questions. Like firstly, where on earth was I?How did I magically change into a  dress? And was I even alive?I had to find an answer to all these questions;but how and from whom?

I observed the scenery around me. All I saw was the natural beauty that surrounded me. The kind I had not seen in quite a long time. The kind I thought seized to exist.
The grass was thick; green and wet with dew. I was surrounded by a variety of flowers and plants. I felt like I was in paradise and for a minute;that's exactly what I wanted to believe. I was in a field of lavender. Its strong smell encompassed me and I found myself with both eyes closed and a wide smile on my face. I then thought that if that was heaven;I wasn't that bad of a human being after all. It was a good consolation prize you know;for all the pain that I had to endure on earth. I opened my eyes and realised that something wasn't right. It wasn't heaven. Where was God and Jesus? Where were all the angels? It then dawned unto me that I must've gotten lost.
Perhaps the accident that I recalled of wasn't even real at all. Perhaps it was all some horrible nightmare. Or was it?

I had to try and find something that would give me a clue about my whereabouts. I had to leave the place as soon as possible. I had responsibilities. A company to run!Places to go and an empire to build. It wasn't the time to die (that's if I was dead). I had to find a lead and fast.

Firstly, I had to find my phone. I needed my GPS to help me find my way back home. I searched for it everywhere, but I couldn't find it. I reckoned that whomever it was that changed me must've stolen it. Without any other options left one solution remained: I had to find my answers manually.

I walked on for a while. I passed some rooibos bushes, some oak trees and some Pine trees until I discovered a river behind the bushes. I was enthralled by its sound and its seemingly cold water. Thus I ran as far as my two long legs could take me.

The river went wild. I loved its sound. I was really thirsty and I decided to drink some water. It was refreshing and cold. I had never tasted water like that before. I lived in a city so the water was not exactly pure. Health officials always assured us that our tap water's completely safe and the cleanest all around. They had lied. After nourishing my body I decided that it was time for a short breather. Thus I decided to sit and relax on some rock that was nearby.

As I looked above I saw the sky. There was no sight of clouds in it and it was baby blue. There were reeds by the riverbed. I closed my eyes and I heard the calming sound of the river and the whistling of the wind simultaneously. It sounded magical. As the wind whooshed by the reeds, they gave a sound similar to fabrics when you rub them against each other. I opened my eyes again as it reminded me of my job.

Fear and anxiety started kicking in. I really needed to get away. Although it was beautiful and magical I needed to get back to life. Back to reality. Perhaps it was a dream. Perhaps I was going to wake up soon. How did I end up in this place anyway? Why did I have an agonizing pain in my head? Why did it seem so real? Why was I asking so many questions?I really needed some more water.

I then got up from the cold rock and I reached with both of my hands into the river. As I reached into the refreshing water I saw somebody's reflection. It as was a rather handsome one at that too. The face of a young man. A man with good bone structure. A man with caramel skin. A man with beautiful hazel brown eyes. A man with ebony black, short, rocker style hair. A man with a well shaven beard. He looked like he was of Arabian ancestry. He was the most handsome man I had ever laid my eyes on and he was giving me a fright! Albeit that he was numbing my legs with his beauty;another fact popped in my head: this handsome man was a stranger. Who knew what his intentions might've been? What if he had been following me all along?

After realising that I had no idea who this man was I jumped into the river.

"You're not gonna get me!" I shouted before unwittingly jumping into a shallow river. What happened next really made me question my intelligence quotient.

"Don't the water is...!" the man said.

I hit my head on a rock.

The water then became a subtle shade of pink. I then got this excruciatingly painful headache and heard the man murmuring something quite obscure. Whatever the latter was; I will never know because I blacked out.

Opel thou...😂
