Back to Opal...

On the next day early in the morning,I woke Raphael up.I decided to be true to my word, for the first time in my life I wanted to actually listen to my heart.

"Wake up Raphael."I said whilst holding the book in my one hand

Raphael just moved and groaned.No wonder Ferrari was lazy...

I remembered his secret weapon.It was time that I gave him a taste of his own medicine.

I searched for the cloth in his bag.Then I finally found it.

I put it under his nose.It had no effect on him.
"Smell it Raph."
Still he SNORED.

I saw a skin bag attached to his sack.I took it and splashed all the water on his face.

"Ahhrgh!!!" he said while jumping up
"Good morning sunshine. "I said while closing the skin bag.
"Why did you do that?" he asked
"It's time to wake up, sleeping beauty" I said in a sing-song voice

He fixed his hair.He started smiling.
"You're such a character." he said
I just smiled

"Um, I gotta go and freshen up.I feel super filthy now especially now since you gave me a 'wake up call'."
"Yeah I gotta go and freshen up too,but where?"
"I know a place.You can go first."
"You don't always have to be a gentleman you know." I said while looking at my slightly brown dress.I really had to wash it.

"Yeah you're right.I don't have to,I have the need to."
"Dude you don't even know me that much.You've got no idea what I've done in my past.I-"

He held my hand.
"You will never get a hold of your past again;but you can change today for tomorrow."
He was so cheesy...

I just replayed what he said to me in my mind over and over.Perhaps it was true.Perhaps...

I let go of his hand.I really hate all this drama.

"Let's just go Raphael."
He walked over to Ferrari.
He looked at me.
I laughed "stop being so serious dude."
He smiled.

I ran and I got up on Ferrari;without Raph's help.I was stronger.

After a while we arrived at the place he told me about.It was a a large dam with seemingly clean water.I moved closer to get a look.
I got my hand in it.I could see my hand clearly through the water.
The cleanest water ever...

"You like what you see?" Raph asked as he got off Ferrari
"Love it.",I said as I got up
"You can go first.I'll give you some privacy.Just shout to me if ever you need anything." he said as he left
I just nodded my head in approval.

I have to say,the water was really cold.As cold as ice, but luckily for me the weather was on my side.It was a scorching hot day so I didn't mind.

It was time for me to bathe.In nature...
At first I was scared and very uncomfortable,but I decided to get it over and done with...

I felt super clean (one of my most favourite feelings)
and I felt like one of those Disney princesses.There was a moment where I wanted to sing to the birds.I decided to do it,not a good idea.

"Lala...what a day...
Sunny day...
Lovely day,lovely day...
What...a day
beautiful day....
Lovely day..." I sang

I felt so free.
"Bravo!" I heard Rapahel shout from afar
"Thank you sire! "
"May you please finish up now?I want to cleanse myself too!"
"I'm almost done!"
I lied.I stayed a bit longer,just enjoying the water...
I closed my eyes.I listened to the birds.Beautiful...

I then got out of the water and I changed into the dress I wore ever since I got here(washed of course.)Cleanliness is so refreshing.

"I'm done now!"I yelled to Raphael
"I'm coming!"

He walked over to me.
Slowly...
With his hand covering his eyes.

I came up to him and I removed his hand from his eyes.
"I'm dressed you know."
He blushed.

"Yeah I knew that.Its just the sun. It's so bright."
"Liar."
"Anyway I gotta go bathe Opal."
"As you wish."

While Raphael was busy,um,cleansing himself I just went to a nearby tree.Just to relax.

It was a large Acacia tree.With thorns and sharp as a needle.
I sat under it.Then I yawned.Then after a few more yawns I dosed off.

"Opal." said a voice though I couldn't see where it came from.

I was in a cemetery.I was wearing a beautiful,white,huge,puffy dress.It had a sweet heart neckline and it had silver embroidery on it.
It was so so lovely.But why was I in a cemetery?

I walked around passing by some graves.I seemed to be looking for the voice that was speaking to me.

"Where are you.Who are you?" I asked
I looked around.Still no sight of a person.I looked around.I saw a lot of graves.But one caught my eye.
It had my name on it...

Why did it only have my date of birth yet it didn't have my date of death?

I screamed.I sat down on the ground.I curled up and a rocked myself backwards and fowards.

"Opal my child.You've been living a life which I hadn't destined for you.I prepared a life of happiness and joy for you.Riches were already in the package,but it seems like you chase after them more than you seek me.How can you want what I have created but not want me.Opal its time you grow.It's time that you find happiness.It's time you let go."

Tears were flowing down my cheeks.I was terrified.But the words which came from the voice were real.They were applicable to my life.

"Wait who are you?" I said with tears in my eyes.
"Some don't believe in me.Some call me a hoax.Some ignore my existance.I'm the one who's always around you.The one who was here in the past and I'll still be there in the future."

Then I woke up to the sound of Raphael's voice.

This is for everyone who's reading this or those who still will read this.Yeah I mean you😜.I don't know if you believe in God or not,but He loves you.He loves you regardless of your past or what you've said today.He forgives only if you ask.I don't know what you've been going through but He's there.He will be there when you believe in Him and when you won't,because He can't deny himself.He will be there when its dark in your life and when its summer.
Don't stop believing and if you have start believing again.❤
