Morning finally came.I had the most rest I ever had in a long time.
I woke up earlier than Raphael.
I looked at him.He looked good even in his sleep.He amazed me.
To be honest a lot of guys wouldn't have done what he did for me.They would've taken advantage of me,but he didn't.
And yes, he was handsome,but his personality just overshadowed his looks.

He seemed like some prince from this fairytale.Anyhow I was not going to allow myself to become this damsel in distress .A girl who was going to wait for some prince to rescue her.Waiting for a prince takes far too long, so I was going to rescue myself.I had witnessed alot of women getting hurt.They got heartbroken.They cried.Some died.All in the name of love.

I was hungry,but what was I going to eat?I looked around and all I saw were leaves and I didn't feel like eating a salad.I had the need to eat something meaty.I looked to my right.My eyes caught a glimpse of Ferrari.My mind started playing tricks on me.Lucky for Ferrari I didn't feel like eating horse meat.

"Looking for food huh?"
"Good morning to you too sunshine." I said while looking at Raphael who was rubbing his eyes.
"What can we eat?" I asked;"you've been here longer than I've been so you must know"
"Yeah I do.We'll need Ferrari for this."

Raph got up and tried to wake Ferrari up.
He tried pushing him,but still he refused.He tried pushing him over,but still nothing all he did was huff.That was some lazy horse.

"You need my help Raph?"
"Of course Captain Obvious."

I got up and I walked over to them with confidence,but it started to fade when I tried pushing Ferrari.
"This is harder than I thought." I said while breathing as if I was sprinting
"Let me go to my sack."
"Your 'sack of treasures'." I teased
"Come on Opal."
Raph then went to his favourite old sack of treasures.He arrived with something that looked like a cloth.

He held this cloth to Ferrari's nose.
Ferrari sniffed it then he opened his eyes.
"There we go." Raph said sounding relieved
"What was that?"I asked out of curiosity
"Oh this?It's just a little something I use to wake him up.He can be a bit lazy at times."
"I noticed.May I please see it?"
"Yeah just don't smell it."
Raph handed the white piece of cloth over to me.I decided to ignore his warning and smell it.It smelled horrible.It was like a mix of old shoes and cheese.I lost my appetite just from smelling it.

"What is this?!" I asked close to vomitting
"My secret weapon." Raph said looking proud of himself.
"Your weapon should be destroyed."
He laughed.
"This is not funny." I said
"I did warn you Opal."
I can be so stubborn at times.

My tummy started grumbling.
"I guess it's time we pack up." Raph suggested
"Definitely."

We folded the blankets neatly and we helped each other to untie the hammock from the tree.We put everything in the sack.
"I don't know what I'd do without this sack." Raph said while hugging his 'old sack of treasures'.
I stood there with my hands on my hips.

Raph got on Ferrari like royalty agian.I looked at the saddle with determination.
"Need some help Opal?" Raph asked, while offering me his hand.
I accepted his offer.I held his hand tight while getting on Ferrari.

"Thanks"
"Where are we going?" I asked with anticipation
"To nature's version of MacDonalds."
"Sounds like my type of food. "
"The only difference is it comes from trees."
"Yum."
"Are you ready?"
"Yeah let's go."
Raph ordered Ferrari to go with power and with the same amount of energy as the previous day he flew right across the fields.

"I feel nauseous Raph." I said while rubbing my head
"You'll get used to it."
"Its because of your weapon of mass destruction."
"I told you not to,but no you had to smell it."

Ferrari jumped slightly a bit too high.My heart rate accelerated.
I held on to Raph again.It felt so weird.I was uncomfortable with depending on somebody else for something.I had taught myself over the years to be an independent young lady.
I forgot how it felt like for somebody else to do something for me instead of the other way around..

"Are you okay Opal?"
"Yeah.You're a pro huh?"
"Yep the very best there is."

Ferrari jumped over some river.
"This horse,"
Raph looked at me
"I meant Ferrari is very agile."
"He is a stallion after all.Did you sleep well?"
"Despite all your snoring, I did."
"I do not snore Opal."
"Trust me you do and very loud."
"Fine I'm guilty,but you're not so innocent either."
"At least I know that I snore.I have a nasal problem by the way.
"Its not so lady like.Anyway I believe that being a lady is matter of character and reasoning."
"Wow wise words sir.Very wise words."

I guess he was more than a handsome face.
"Tell me Opal are you married?"
Wow me married.That guy was funny.Where did that come from?

"I'm not.I am too occupied by my job.I'd rather have an empire than have some nagging guy in my house.Are you married Raphael?"
"Unfortunately not.I simply haven't found the right girl.Most girls look at material things you know and most of the girls I've met are not quite what can I say?"
"Authentic."I said as if I knew what he was going to say
"I was gonna say genuine,but authentic sounds better.Not just a beautiful face huh?"
I blushed.
"Stop it you're making me blush.Anyway where did that come from.The marriage quiz?"

He was looking fowards but I felt this unsettling look on his face."
"Just asking." Raph said while scratching his head
I looked over to him and his cheeks changed colour.Perhaps it was an allergy.
"Do you have lice dude,because you're scratching your head quite alot."
"No, not at all."

I never saw Raph so unsure of himself.He was always so confident and sure of himself.
He always had the right words to say at the right time.This was different.

"Are we there yet?" I asked.I was running out of patience
"Almost.Just hold on.Hold on Opal."

Somebody's in the 'l' word with someone else😊
Why can't Opal see it?
