Chapter 1: ¿ My powers?

I wake up, hearing the beautiful sounds of the winter birds chirping and as usual Lydia, my guardian comes in transforming back to human to tell me .... "Hurry up and get ready, we're going adventuring!" Lydia says. I groan and say, " Give me at least 2 minutes and I'll be ready in 5 okay?" Lydia rolls her eyes and leaves my room. As I stretch a beam of ice shoots out of my hand and breaks the ceiling. What just happened? Lydia comes running looking worried and asks, " WHAT HAPPENED!?" ,"Uhhh.....I don't....know?" Is my response. "THEN WHY IS THE CEILING HAVE A HOLE!?!", "Um...well you see I got up from my bed and stretched and then ice shot out of my hand like if it were normal and I had no idea I could do that....so yeah." Lydia looked more worried and then says in a whisper,"Oh no I knew this day would come!" I say," huh?!". "Look I have a story to tell but first get changed okay?" Lydia says, "Kay?" I respond. Lydia leaves my room, again, and I close the door get changed in to my white short dress and then I put on my satchel , fur coat , grey wedges, and braid brown, silky hair. I walk down stairs and go to the kitchen and ask Lydia, "So...that story...??"." Okay ... but you must be very quiet so let's go come on" Lydia responded. She takes me to our very tall bookshelf and transforms into a snow owl. She flies all the way to the top and scoots a small book, a journal and a small box. I wonder why she had these on the top? Maybe it has to do with the story? As she flies down down she stops and pushes a book in and then a wall opened. It was a secret passageway!?! She came back to me and transforms back to herself. Lydia goes in and I follow her. The wall then closes and I become worried. Lydia looks at me then laughs,"Don't worry we'll have a way out", she keeps laughing until i let a little chuckle. We end up in a winter secret garden, that I of course didn't know about. We sit down in a icy bench. She opens the box and takes out a necklace that looks like ice. Lydia sighs,"You always had powers but a potion, that wasn't suppose to wear off!, took them away but this amulet contains more important powers and it leads to your...." Lydia hesitates and speaks,"Back story..." she frowns.
"Well...I guess I'm ready to hear it." I say in a brave way, but no I'm not brace nor confident. I feel like my life has now been a lie that I just figured out so many secrets. So...many..........secrets. Lydia looks at me"Well it all started with an amulet your mother found and she she had 3 other pieces connected to this one, she wore it everyday even on her....W-Wed-ding D-day" she stops to think"Your father or the groom used her for the amulet and grabbed it and broke the amulet into 4 pieces, your mother was so close to killing him but he let him go with a warning to never return...then she studied the amulet and then found it she was pregnant and she couldn't rule with children so she had to separate you from your....." she stops and opens the book where there is a bookmark, the first bookmark."my what?" I ask. "Your other 3..."she adds."My other 3 what!" I ask. I wonder as an awkward silence breaks through."s-sis-st-ters" she finally responds. That word it echoed in my head millions of times. I was so confused. I had sisters?"Sisters?" I questioned her. "Yes Eligard you have 3 other sisters. If you want I could tell you more?" Lydia answered calmly. "Sure" I say. If I could handle anymore I'm nearly crying on the inside. Though that was like nearly the first time she called me by my real name, Lydia always calls me Ellie, well when she's mad but still why? "Well like I said before your mother can't rule with children and so she sent every one of you with a piece of the amulet because she didn't think she would handle the magic so she put her studies in this journal, and used this book, but one day people found out your mother's plan so she erased their memory and put a potion on all of you girls and kept it a secret, but she left the book with me since your the oldest by 30 minutes and you will find out first so that's why you need these now", Lydia puts on the amulet like if I owned it, but if I did then I need more information. Thank lord that I have mom's journal and her book. We both get up and while we walk I ask her,"Then who 'are' my sisters, like their names?"."Well the second one is Maelie, the third is Scarlett and the youngest is Aurelia, and they all live in different clouds Maelie lives in the Spring cloud, Scarlett in the Autumn cloud, and Aurelia in the Summer cloud." "Oh..." I add and then I frown I feel like I've met them before but not as a baby as a teenager like I've seen them in...in a..... VISION! I gasp and Lydia turns and looks at me confused, "I feel like I've seen them before like in a vision!". "Wow really well you don't know them but I guess you did um since you found out something really interesting about your life how about we go adventuring tomorrow and you can studied and learn more okay?" Lydia responds."okay I guess?!" And I go to my room and open the journal and book.

As I read and learn mor about my powers a snowball unexpectedly hit my window I jump and close the books and open my window then...*boom* a snowball painfully hit my face. I wipe it off and see...*sigh*, Ashton, the cutest friend I ever had since we were kids, since then I've developed a crush on him, I don't know if he ever felt the same. He was tall, pale skin black hair, blue eyes, dimples and his perfect self. "Hey!" I say. "Sorry I didn't think you would open the window so fast?" He says as he laughs." Wow really I don't believe you I'll be down there in a minute okay!" I tell him.

We laugh all day then I frown at the thought of my sisters and then again, my mom. Ashton asks,"Hey umm are you okay?" I sigh and respond,"Yeah I guess, I was just thinking." Ashton adds,"Oh okay just checking on you and um nice necklace" I look down and remember the amulet around my neck then I ask,"Can you keep my secret?" He responds "Yeah you can trust me." Well of course I can your like my best friend and you're perfect. I tell him the story. He was si supieses in fact he was so "chill" about it and how he believed me. I'm glad we're friends, good friends. I tell him about my powers and then he makes a jaw drop. Ashton asks,"Whoa that's so cool show me, please!"."Okay but don't tell any one okay?"I respond with confidence." I won't" he adds. I show him all the powers I studied in the book. We continue the rest of the day relaxed. I wish I could tell him how I feel...
