Chapter 7

Taehyung POV.
Before opening the door, I heard a sound from behind me, I immediately looked back and there I saw Hyejin, laying in the middle of the road, her head bleeding, and her body shivering. I stood there,

Stiff,
My heart racing,
Tears rolling down my cheeks.

I ran immediately to her and sat down beside her shaking body.

"Hyejin, j-jagiya, H-Hyejin! Wake up jebal! Jebal!", I cried out. I took my phone from my pocket and called the ambulance, as the driver from the car who bumped Hyejin came running to me.

I stood up and looked at the man's face. I suddenly clenched a fist and my face started to go red.

"WAE?!", I shouted before I punched him in the face. He groaned as he fall into the ground. I went back to Hyejin, held her hands very tight and rubbed her cheeks with my shaking thumb.

When the ambulance and the police came, Taeguk and Taeho suddenly went out from the restaurant and they both teared up. People gathered around to see what happened, and I was just there, following Hyejin on the bed for her way inside the ambulance, trying not to loose myself.

I sat down on the small chairs inside the ambulance and held Hyejin's hands. I looked up and joined my hands together, I prayed, that nothing will happen to her. I held her hand again and I tried to wake her up but she didn't.

5 minutes later
The doctor took her to the room and checked on her. I sat on the chairs beside the room door and put my hands on my face. I squalled and the nurses suddenly stared at me for a second. Taeguk and Taeho ran towards me, and they both sat beside me. Taeho rubbed my back as I breathe shakily.

"Appa. . .", Taeguk cried. Before I get to her the doctor went out of the room and I immediately stood up, the doctor knowing that I would ask about Hyejin.

He faced the floor and faced me. I had the feeling that something absolutely happened to her. My chest started to get heavy, as the doctor speaks, "Kim Hyejin has. . . ,", he faced down again. "She has amnesia.".

As he said those words I remembered how we both first met, how we enjoyed our whole lives together, how we made Taeguk and Taeho and put them as the part of our lives. Those things will be forgotten by her and all of it will just be a waste for her. She will never remember me, or Taeguk, or Taeho.

Taeho suddenly gasped and Taeguk put her hands on her mouth. The doctor faced down again. "I'm sorry. The car hit her so hard in the head that she had one. Her head even bled to much and we needed more blood for her. But she's okay now. The problem is, t-that she won't remember anything.".

I clenched my fist and immediately went inside the room. I kneeled down beside Hyejin, crying so hard that I could feel my heart almost exploding. I can't believe this. I wish this all would be just a dream. I can't absolutely believe this. If she won't remember anything, our memories together will just be a waste for her.

Taeguk ran on the other side of the bed and hugged Hyejin. She hugged her so tight that Taeho had to stop her because it was too tight. I held Hyejin's hands. Until her eyes slowly popped open.

I looked at her eyes, hoping that what the doctor said was all just an imagination.

"H-Hyejin?", I said.

She looked at me, without any reaction. But all of a sudden the hand I was holding was pulled away. I watched it as it goes away from my hand, and a tear fell down through my cheeks. I wrapped my fist up and thought about what the doctor said again.

Amnesia.

"Why are you touching me? Who are you?", she asked. She looked at Taeguk and Taeho, "And you?".

I took a deep breath, trying not to loose myself. Instead of answering her question, I walked outside the room and sat down on the chair.

I decided to be strong for her.

I will protect her. Even though she has amnesia, I will never let her down. Even though she doesn't remember me, I will make her remember me. I will make her remember everything. It's because I love her.
