WALLYS POV

I messed with my tie as it awkwardly stayed as stiff as a plank of wood.

I watched as a beautiful woman in a slim black dress that went mid thigh with black heels to go with it.

The corner of her lip went up as she saw what I was doing messing with my tie.

I laughed walking over to her her smile didn't once disappear as we started to walk to the restaurant taking the sidewalk.

"So tell me about you Wally."I got tongue tied trying to think of something to say." Well I mean well I've got a thing for intelligential  people with black hair." We both laughed at my response." Well might I say I've got a thing for guys with green eyes."I blushed as she laughed at my face."New to this?"she asked making me clam up at the thought of Dickie.

"Oh sorry was she an amazing person?"I smiled at her genuine curiosity."uh well uh she was an amazing person she saw me when everyone thought we were in complete darkness if they had told me to quite she would've told me to fuck them and do what I feel right. She was my best friend."

Linda put her hand on my shoulder rubbing my back."it's okay I could never imagine going through so much to be pulled apart by the world grasps."we both stayed silent as we walked up to Maggie's I spoke up looking to her."where do you want to sit?"she smiled walking me to a small booth.

Our server came to the table handing us both menus."our specials for today are chicken noodle soup, any sub that doesn't have chicken and the grimble tack hot dog, now what may I get you two to drink."we both smiled to each other.

TIME SKIP

We had finished both our meals walking out from Maggie."hey um I'm sorry for what I had asked earlier I didn't know you'd lost someone so close to you I didn't mean to bring back any memories."I smiled at her politeness.

"No honestly it felt good to talk about her with someone else and not keep it bottled inside any longer."it had truly been killing me for so long maybe it was for the better that I get over Dickie.

I looked to the ground for a few minutes before looking up grabbing Linda's hand."Come I want to show you something I know you'll enjoy."I quickly ran without hurting her or showing I was Kid Flash bringing her to the park.

"What is it you wanted to show m-" she stopped talking looking at the beautiful flowers looking up she could see a statue of a swan. "Well do you like it?" Her smile had said yes as she jumped hugging me we separated for a second as I walked and grabbed a little radio someone seemed to have left.

The music started to play a soft melody I put my arm out in an offering,"May I have this dance madam?"I bowed as she giggled,"You may sir."she grabbed my hand pulling me up as she swayed along with me dancing like 6 year olds smiling and laughing.

The song continued as we both danced off beat and randomly swaying.

As the song came to an ending we laughed holding onto each other.

The radios tunes still going on while I had spoke." See told you you'd enjoy it."

"Well wow didn't know you had good taste in these places figured you'd be more of a tax boy or more businessy."she said laying on the ground as I lay beside her." No not really I'm more of a mechanic but ... well what do you do? Haven't really asked you anything your turn to answer."

She giggled thinking before replying."Well Wally I'm a Television reporter exciting isn't it."she laughed along with me looking to the sky.

"Have you ever just looked to the moon, wishing you could have a sign to point you in the direction you're suppose to go in?"she asked a distant look in her eyes.

"I've tried my best to avoid the moon,"I felt her grab onto my hand.
