Chapter 11

Alexandra's POV : one week later

"Come on honey. You can't stay in your room forever" my mum said hugging me.

I told her what I did and she kind of understood. I'm just happy that she's here for me.

It's been a week since the party.  And things have never been better. Note sarcasm. 

People at school give me dirty looks now. Everytime I pass by Erick in the halls he mutters things like "slut" or "bitch" then storms past me.

I was kicked off the cheer squad for some reason. And my best friend won't even look at me let alone talk to me.

It's hard but I'm hurting him less by tell the truth. Like they say truth hurts. 

One thing I'm grateful for is that my parents are standing with me and helping me every step of the way.

Now that everything is out of the way I can spend more time with my family. 

Do I miss Eric and  Cami? Yes I miss them like hell.  But I can't do anything about it.

So I fill  my schedule with things that will distract me. Like my mum and I take turns cooking. And I clean the house. I also bake for some of the people on the block.

I was not sitting by myself in the school  odditorium. All the seniors where there including  Erick.

"Good afternoon students " the principle said.

Some kids mumbled back some just stayed quite. 

"We are all here to discuss.  This year's senior trip" cheers and clapping was head.

"Now you know that nor everyone can go on this trip. So we have chosen ten students."

He then proceeds to call out the names of the students.  I zoned out because I could care less for their stiupd school trip.

"Erick Dream" people clapped I looked at him. He smiled but didn't look happy.  It hurt me to know that I was the one who broke him. 

"Alexandra Lean " a few people clapped. I was shocked but then covered it with an unfazed look. I looked over to Erick who was now glaring daggers at me.

I rolled my eyes.  Trying to clam the butterflies in my heart. When you love someone. It doesn't matter whether they glare at you or smile. You'll always get a feeling in you knowing you shared or share something special with them.

Everyone  cleared out and stared walking to their cars.

I walked to my car got in and drove home. "Mum I'm home" I said walking in.

I dropped my bag and walked into the kitchen where my mum was cooking. "How was school" she asked

I sighed then shrugged "I was chosen to go on this school trip" my mum perked up at that and turned to me with a smile.

"Really. Where are you guys going?" She beamed. "Um.......A ranch out in Teaxs think" I said

That's awesome. When do you leave?"

"Monday " today was Friday so we had the weekend to pack and do whatever. 

"Well then you better get packing   she said. I nodded possible outfits that I could take running in my head.

But I was cut off by the door bell. "I got it" I said tiredly.

I opened  the door to see Cami. "Cami hey what are you doing here?" I ask nervously. 

She shifted from one foot to another.  "Can.....can we talk?" She asked.

I nodded "yeah sure come in" I walked with her up to my room. We both sat on my bed opposite each other. 

"How have you been?" I asked trying to break the silence. 

Cami sighed "look I didn't come here to make small talk. I wanted to know why you did it?" She said

I rolled my eyes at her "like I said Erick was getting boring.  So I tought I'd spice my kids up a little " I said

"Oh don't give me that bull shit. Just a week ago you where si madly in love with him. And if I know you as my best friend I know you would  ever do that to anyone let alone the person you love"

"Cami just tell me why you're here"

" I'm here because I miss my best friend.  You may act like you don't care and you maybe fooling everyone. But you don't fool me I can see right trough you. I certainly here so things won't be weird on the trip. I mean how do you think I feel when my boyfriend hats my best friend?"

I sighed then couldn't help the tears "I didn't want to do it. But I also can't tell you I just want everything to be okay" I cried.

Cami hugged me "it's gonna be okay I promise "
