Chapter 17

Erick's POV

I had been watching Alex all night. This Mason guy looked suspicious. "Do you have any non-alcoholic drinks? " I heard her ask he looked over the table then gave her one of the cups.

I watched as they danced toghter and couldn't help but think that used to be us.

Everything was fine until I saw other people taking the same drinks from the table and getting drunk.

I panicked as I saw Alex and Mason go into the house. I got up and followed them. I watched as Alex came out of the bathroom and Mason grabbed her pushing her against the wall. I can't help but feel angry and jelous. But it's her life and I'm not a part of it any more.

I was about to turn and go back to the party but Alex spoke making me stop in my tracks. "Mason what are you doin?" She asked trying to push him off

"Just relax baby" he slurred running his fingers down her cheek. "Let go of me" she said angryliy trying to push him off.

Mason's grip on her tightened and he was about kiss her but I stepped in. Before I could even think about what I was doing I pulled him off of her and punched him in the face.

"What the fuck man!" He yelled holding his bleeding nose. "When a girl say no she mean no. Try to get that through your head" I said taking Alex ' s hand walking out with her.

Alex stumbled a bit. She was drunk. I got into one of the cars and Alex sat next to me. "Take us back. We're done here" I said to the driver.

We got out of the car and before I could stop her. Alex ran to the lake. She sat down on the grass in front. I walked over and sat next to her. She leaned her head on my shoulder.

She sighed "you.....know.....da.....the......whole....kiss thing.......was......to. ....Make........you hate me.......but here youu are .........saving mee!" She slurred

"What do you mea?" I asked confused

"I still love you so much" she ley out a humorless chuckle "but it will hurt you" she said

"You can go now......I will get back just fine" she pouted at me. Damn you Alex why does your drunk self have to be so cute. "But I don't want you to go!.......but you have to go!!" She continues

"What are you hiding from me?" I asked

"Not hiding you jack fruit.....wait the only thing I'm hiding is my love!! For you!"

"So you still love me?"

"No.......maybe......yeah" she said "but to protect you...you must duck off and forget this conversation" she says then kisses me on the cheek.

I turn and hold her face in my hands looking into her eyes "what are you hidin what's your secret?" I push

"Mwah!  Duck you........and duck off......bye babbbbeee! " she puts her face to my ear and whispered "I ......miss......you"

"Why did you put on this whole act?"

"TO PROTECT YOU, YOU ASSHOLE. ....ARE U STUPID?" She scremed at me.

"Protect me from what?" I asked getting angry

"TA-TA! BYEEEEEE. ......get lost!" She says

I sigh "I think it's time to get you to bed" I get up then pick her up. I carry her to her room. I place her of the bed then take off her shoes so she can get comfortable. 

I turn to leave but she stops me. She grabs my hand and says sweetly "stay with me please Ericky "

I sigh then climb into bed next to her. She puts her head on my lap and I run my fingers through her hair.

She sits up and we look into each others eyes. Her eyes move to my lips. She moved closer and closer  and then.....She falls off to sleep.

Hey guys. Another chapter. So I hope you like this one. I was so sure she was going to tell him the truth. But no!

The thing a out this chapter is that my friend Cluddette  and I did the dialogue.  She was drunk Alex. Because I don't really know what a drunk person would say in this situation.  And when I got drunk I ended up sleeping  so I don't do much.
