It's Not My Fault (COMPLETED)

Chapter 15

Alexandra's POV

I walked up to the table not really paying attention to the person. "Welcome to  Greens. My name is Alex and I'll be your waitresses. What  can I get you?" I was trying to not sound as bord and tired as I am but I know I failed. 

"How about we start with your number?" The person said. I look up to see a guy with readish hair and green eyes. He was kinda cute but I don't think I'm ready to be in a relationship.

I blushed "sorry I don't give personal information to customers " I said. He smiled at me "I understand. I'm Mason by the way" he says extending his hand.

I shook his hand smiling "I'm Alex" . "So Alex what do you recommend?" He asks.  "Well personally I love the chocolate cake and the coffee"

"And how do you take your coffee?" He asked. "Black,stronge and lots of sugar" he smiles closing the menu handing it to me. "I'll take that then" I smile writing down his order.

I cut a slice of cake while Cami makes the  coffee. After everything is ready I walk back to him and place it down on the table.  "Here you are. One slice of chocolate cake. One black coffee,strong and lots of sugar" I say smiling at him.

"So where are you from?" He asks. "Oh I'm from Miami. My school is here for our senior trip" I reply taken back that he knew I was not from here.

"I tought as much" he said taking a bit of the cake. "How'd you know?" I ask. "I come in here every day and I know all the staff" he smiles.  I nod and leave.
"That guy is kinda cute" Cami says coming up beside me. I roll my eyes at her "I'm not interested" I say.   Now I get it Cami must have seen him and set me up.

"Oh come on why not?" She says  "because I just broke up with Erick and I'm not ready for a relationship " I say. 

"Come on Alex. Erick can't stand  being in   the same room as you. I think it's time to move on" she says the last part softly. "Cami I told you I don't wanna talk about it"

"And I'm not asking you to. All I'm saying is give someone else a try" she tries to reason with me. I sigh "okay. But I don't wanna hear this again" I said. She beams at me a wide grin on her face.

"waitresses " Mason says. I walk over to him with the check. I collect all the dishes. "I don't know how you people do parties back in Miami  but here in Teaxs we surly do things different" 

"Your point is?" I ask getting bord. He laughed "I'm having a party tomorrow night.  And it would be cool if you showed up. Get to know some people and you can bring your friends" he days sliding a paper to me with an adress.

"Well see" I say taking the paper. I walked  away  continuing with my work. It's about 5:00  pm when we were allowed to knock off work. Me and Cami tiredly go to our room. I layed down on my bed with a sigh.

"Oh no you don't. There is no time  for a nap we have to freshen up and go down for dinner" Cami says. I goran sitting up. I walk into the bathroom and have a quick shower the heat relaxing my muscles. 

I come out and dry my hair then pick out my  clothes. I picked out a black wet look skirt that was just above my knee,my white sleeveless shirt and my black heel boots. I comb through my hair setting it nicely then put some make - up  and my jewellery.

Cami and I go down and we sit in the same seats we did this morning.  For dinner we had  roast beef with mash,gravy and vegetables. The food was really good. Mr Rick walked in just before we were done "I just wanted to say that you guys did a good job today. Your hard work is much a priciated. And as a reward tomorrow night there is a party down at a near by ranch and I think it would be good for yall to mingal and get to know the towns people" with that he left. 

That night I got onto my bed tired. But it felt good it was a nice distraction.

By the way when I say wet look. I mean that matirial you get that looks like leather but it's not actually leather.  Just tought I'd let you know.
