Bowling with friends

When we got to the bowling rink everyone else was already there. I kind of recognize everyone except for these two girls. Or at least I think they're both girls. One was currently throwing the ball, the maybe girl was cheering her on. Right before the ball swiveled onto the side. Everyone groaned then they saw us and cheered. "Hey you came!" Said the maybe girl. She has red hair mostly hidden by a beanie and is comfortably wearing a hoody and jeans. She runs up to us so quickly I wasn't sure if she was gonna stop. "Hey I'm Casey you must be Lula" she said sticking her hand out. I take her had and she pulls me into a very um strong hug. I am still not sure if she is a girl. Then she drags me to the place that everyone was gathered at. Basically dislocating my good arm. I notice that there is basically no body else besides the people that probably worked here. 

"It's okay. Bowling is not about winning." Casey said to the other girl. "Yes it is!" She yelled. Casey pulled her into a hug. "Then I'll win for you." The girl pulled away "But I want to win!!" Selien laughed, "Put me in and Lula. The first round hasn't ended you should be able to." Everyone groaned but they do it anyway. Wait a second I don't know how to play. "Nah I'm good. Wouldn't want to get in the way of your competition." I hope it isn't too obvious. I don't know why I'm so embarrassed about not knowing how to play. "Nonsense, your the guest of honor." One of the boys who's name I still didn't know said, still filling out Selien's name. I don't see a way out of it. "I've never played before." I admitted. 

Everyone seemed a bit surprised. "Then I'll just have to teach you." Selien said pulling me to to this sort of booth that had like a hundred shoes. We got our sizes after Selien explained to me that you have to bowl in the shoes. If I wore my shoes they could ruin the ground. Or something like that. The shoes feel weird. I don't complain. Then we got a ball. It's all so weird considering my left hand was still in a cast. Which is the excuse I should have went with. We then returned to the ally. Man it looks like such a simple game, but maybe not. It's Seliens turn by the time we got back. "So each pin is a point. You get extra points if you hit them all down. You role the ball twice each round." She points at the weird markings on the ground. 

"You can star at any ware. Just don't cross this line." She points at the line. "Try not to let it go into the gutter. Just do this." Selien posed for a second then moved forward ending in inother pose after throwing the ball. The ball streamed for the middle pin and the momentum knocked every single pin down. "Just like that." Selien handed me my ball. So it's my turn now. "Don't worry we will not judge." Selien reassured me. I take a deep breath and stood on the line with the shorter walk. I then just followed threw. The ball slipped in my hand and flew into the other lane and strait into the gutter. Uh, yeah I really shouldn't be doing this. I heard applause behind me. I turned around to find the applauding to me. I gave them a confused look. "You tried." Selien said. I really don't get it. 

"I mean you threw it farther than I thought you could. Plus you weren't supposed to do good it's your first time." She walked over the other lanes machine and got the ball. Selien walked over and handed it to me. "Start her." She pulled me gently to the longest walk I threw it again. "Don't throw it in the air throw it to the ground and we'll go from there." I took a deap breath and walked forward following threw. Watching the ball slide straight into the left gutter. In the right lane this time. It turned around actually smiling. Then things just went on from there. I came to learn everyone's name and what they turned into. A couple of them were mated. Basically married, though I feel like there is more to it. 

Tyler a cheetah were. Casey is actually part witch part were. It caused her to have an odd physical deformity. She had the ears of her beast form permanently visible. Though currently hidden by her beanie. The other girl Thea. She is a vampire. Though I was immediately assured that the blood thing was not a real problem. Besides that we ate food and bowled. We told jokes and had fun. And tried to tell me more. Without overwhelming me. They belong to a group of supernaturals, since it began as a group of wolf weres it is called a pack. There are different parts of the pack. There is the Alpha who leads the pack. The Beta who is in second of command. The Gama who is like a war general. The Peacekeeper who follows the title.

 Selien was voted to be the future Alpha, Thea is her Gama, and Casey is the current Peacekeeper. The future Beta is still not selected. The pack works as form of democracy led by a group called the counsel. The counsel is a group of people with unbiased opinions that makes decisions that the pack can't.  If a counsel member believed that they could not make an unbiased opinion on whatever the thing was, they are to state so then leave the room till a decision is made then return. If a council member is found to have made a biased decision, whether or not they benefit from it, they get removed from the counsel. Being removed from the counsel was a big deal. Though in some cases understandable and forgiven by the pack.

Though in some cases the removed council member would be thrown out of the pack. Then there is the middle class of people veering all over the place. Guards, cooks, artists, anything really. The only other defining part of the pack were the omegas. The Omegas were the, for the lack of a better word, weaklings. They were such for many different reasons. Deformity ,a week body, mental trauma, ext. In some packs Omegas were mistreated, in a way that the title Omega, meant slave. But in this pack Omegas are a treasure. They are to be protected and helped threw there troubles and pain. Sometimes people come out of being an Omega, but for some it is permeant. Omega's usually are the caretakers of the pack house. Or assistants to the top four and counsel. Not by force but by choice. Omegas refused to be useless and had found there own way in helping the pack. 

Most are unable to leave the pack because of there appearance. Casey, when she first entered the pack, had been an Omega. Technically they can still be classified that was. She had chose to be the assistant to the past Peacekeeper. Though it was a long story they didn't want to go into. Casey lost her smile for a second when she thought about it. Though had a smile again before anyone could comfort her. Jessy and Taylor had to leave after the first round for classes. Mark and Bob as well. They are Warrior wolf weres. "Come on guy's one more round?" Tyler asked, "I know I can beat Selien this time." Selien had flawlessly destroyed everyone at bowling. Tyler and Thea were the closest but were still far behind. Turns out the ball really did slip in Thea's hand. She had come in second. Me and Casey had stayed in last. 

I actually hit the pins once... once. Selien sighed as she got up to pay for another round. "I'm going to the Bathroom." I said getting up. Casey stood up with me. "Yeah me to." I don't object and we walk together.  When I finished washing my hands Casey suddenly grabbed me sniffing my hair. What the fuck? She pulled away from my hair to face me looking confused. Not the only one. "I'm sorry. I don't want to ruin the party mood... but are you sure you're human?"
