[ josh's pov ]
i don't even like marcy, she's a nice girl don't get me wrong, but she's nothing more than a friend to me.
tyler's more than a friend to me, i've thought about this a lot, i'm not sure i've come to terms with how i feel yet.
but i know it's more than friends, even best friends quite frankly.
tyler joseph, the boy who intrigues me everyday.
"hey josh, we should get some coffee together sometime." marcy smiles kindly at me, her hazel eyes meeting directly with mine.
"uh, yeah sure, is tomorrow morning good?" i ask not thinking.
"6:30, café rica?" she holds out her hand, in attempts to shake i assume.
"you got it." i grab her hand and shake, "it's a plan."
right as i walk out of the art room it hits me.
i had plans to get coffee with tyler.
shit.
i grab my phone out of my back pocket, ill have to cancel, besides tyler will understand.
josh: i'm so sorry but ill have to cancel coffee tomorrow before school.
tyler: oh, alright.
i shove my phone back into my pocket and make my way to fourth period.

even though josh canceled their coffee date,
date?
whatever, he canceled and i can't stand a day without coffee though my veins so i decide to go alone.
café rica is only two blocks from where i live so it's not much of a walk, and school is down the street as well.
the bell goes off as soon as i open the glass door.
i sloppily walk to the cashier, still being tired from waking, "ill just have some hot chocolate."
so much for coffee, i've wanted to break that habit anyways i shrug to myself.
i hand the woman my money and she hands me a steaming drink.
the warms radiates though my body when i take a sip.
i turn around and glance around the café looking for a seat.
